On the fifth click, the lip glaze gushes out like there's no tomorrow!

I have this lip glaze in "ulta" mate pink (limited edition color) and it smells like candy! Yum! Even though it smells great, the product doesn't come out smoothly. I click it once, product doesn't come out. Click it twice, product doesn't come out. Click it three times, it still doesn't come out. On the fourth try, the product looks like it's coming out but it doesn't. On the fifth try, the lip glaze gushes out like there's no tomorrow! Huge waste of product and money!

Lips love it, hair does not

I love the colors and the look when I've carefully applied the gloss in front of the mirror. However, the second I walk outside, I remember why I'm not a big fan; the second the wind blows I have to peel strands of hair off of my lips. And, because I am a lip gloss addict, I'm constantly reapplying throughout the day, and it's really hard to get an even application without a lot of effort. There are plenty of other glosses out there for far less money that I would go to first.

    Sticky but pretty.

I love all the colors and smells of the gloss but the applicator is very annoying because barely any product comes out or way to much does. There is no in between. I think it is very overpriced for the amount and quality. The gloss is sticky and not long lasting.

    Compact and Complete

I recall fighting my way through Sephora the day Stila arrived in the store. It was the summer of Charlie's Angels and Stila creator, Jeanine Lobell, had designed lip glazes exclusively for each actress. I held tightly to my Apricot lip glaze. I found the product unique in that with a few twists of the applicator's bottom, you literally saw how much glaze filled the soft hairs which polished the l...read moreips. Later that day, I went to a concert--FINALLY, I was no longer a victim to my hair as the slightest breeze past. Stila's formula is hydrating; you may apply the glaze have coffee, etc. and you are not left with a sticky feeling on your lips. Also, each shade is slightly scented, though not flavored like Lip Smackers or products most likely licked off. I was SOLD after an hr. of wearing this product: my lips were conditioned and lightly tinted rather than glossy and drying.

    Glue-like stickiness

Because the product is so thick and sticky, it takes forever to come out on to the applicator. I had to click at least 3 times and only then did the product start oozing out. But then...too much of it came out! It did last a bit longer than some lip glosses but this is because it's sticky. The consistency almost reminds me of MAC's Lipglass and I had to wear my long hair pulled back to avoid h...read moreair sticking to my lips. The gloss comes in a vast array of colors and scents which is a plus. My main gripe about it is the price. For twenty bucks, there's way too little product in the tube. I realize a little of this goes a long way but come on, this is just ridiculously too little.

    very thick

I have this glaze in a few shades, and while I love the way it looks and stays on, it feels thick and sticky on my lips. I use it occaisionally, but it is not my favorite.

    sticky

sadly this is sticky and kinda thick. There are far better glosses out there. The pen is nice, but if you click it too much, way too much product comes out, then you just waste it.

    Worth the hype?

The good: This is the most resiliant gloss I've ever tried. I love the color (black cherry for me) and if the applicator cooperates, it can be layered for intensity. Bonus: The sweet smell. The bad: The applicator is inconsistent, the gloss often comes out in a mess and I seem to wind up using a q-tip to get it out of the cap. If I didn't like how black cherry looked on me so dang much I wouldn't bother otherwise.

    Shiny

This stuff is great! It's really shiny and I love the twist pen. I think it's a little pricey for what it offers. The colors are endless and amazing and the brush feels good on your lips. It's a "glaze", not a gloss, so it's very "there". It stays on but might not be good for a windy day if overapplied.
