Stila Lip Glaze Reviews

Disappointing.
I wanted to love these, but couldn't! There is so little product for the price tag, the click pen applicator is much less convenient than its made out to be, and it's very sticky. I don't mind sticky glosses, but this is among the stickiest! It makes it last a long time on your lips, but it feels like you spread glue on them. I will not be repurchasing this for sure! — 2 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

Review: Stila Lip Glaze
I picked up the shade 'Kitten" and I really like it! I love the fact that these glazes are avaible in 22 different colors, there is a hue for everyone! I love the brush applicator, it applies evenly and smooth. If you use too much of the glaze, it can get goopy. Use sparingly and this will last a very long time! I ordered it online from ULTA and was surprised by how large the pen is! It is long and very thick! This way, you can have this lip gloss staple in your bag for a very long time! — 2 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

I like it
I like this lip glaze, I think it's a perfect shine for work or something a little more conservative when you don't want to look to wild — 3 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Great gloss
I received a set of these with my Allure summer beauty bag and instantly fell in love. The colors were so pretty and fresh. They have a good amount of pigment and a lot of shine without feeling too thick. The only thing I have to watch out for is clicking the bottom too many times and getting a bit too much product on the brush. I probably wouldn't pay full price for one gloss, but when they are packaged as a set the price is fabulous. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Like the packaging, but not the content
I got this lip gloss about 3 years ago. I am sure I still have it somewhere in my drawer, tucked away (if I see it, I will throw it away btw...lol). This one was like a click pen, which I liked because it did not ooze out the gloss, unlike a tube of lip gloss. Also, their applicator brush did a good job applying it evenly. But since it was sticky and heavy, the gloss sat on the top of my lips, and my lips looked like I just ate something oily. The color was not intense enough, but the glue like consistency stayed on my lips for a long time as long as my lips did not touch anything. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Nice, but not a favorite
This glaze comes in many lovely colors (I own it in Sugar Plum) and I like the scent of mine. But as many others have stated, it is a sticky gloss. I have to apply it slowly and carefully to avoid getting too much on the applicator and having overly goopy lips. It also doesn't stay very well, though that isn't unusual for gloss unless you're buying the really high ends brands. On the plus side, the Sugar Plum shade is excellent with my coloring and for the most part I don't mind having to reapply multiple times in a day (even though this one requires a mirror and a little extra time). I think when this one runs out, I won't be buying it again--I'll just look for another brand with a similar color. I'm not super picky about lip products, but this one is just too sticky for me. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Eh
I LOVE the taste and colors of this lip gloss. It has a good amount of sparkle to it. I hate pretty much everything else about it though! The applicator SUCKS! You have to click it a million times and by the time the product comes out you get way too much! I feel like a lot of the product gets stuck in the little brush fibers. This is a pretty pricey lip gloss and you do not get a lot of product! It is a shame because I like the formula a lot. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

pretty average
I got this in Kitten. It is a pretty basic lip gloss. I did not love it or hate it. It was just okay. I liked the twist up brush packaging. You have to twist a lot of times to get it started. You have to stop twisting as soon as you see color to get the right amount, otherwise you will have too much gloss. The lip gloss is scented and a bit sticky. The shade I got had some shine and shimmer and was not heavily pigmented. I will use it, but there are much better glosses that are much less expensive. — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Decent gloss
I managed to get this gloss as a 4-pack in a department store. Considering how expensive they are (and I usually get drugstore gloss), I figured it would be a better bargain that I get the set and wouldn't feel too bad that I spent so much. I've been wearing this shade called Harmony, which is a sheer pink with subtle shimmer. I noticed some reviewers find the gloss sticky, but I don't feel that it's sticky. I've worn stickier glosses and this isn't sticky. It has a goopy tendency. Smells pretty good, like vanilla, very subtle. Decent wear throughout the day. It's a great gloss but it lost 3 stars for these reasons. First off, the price. I don't think this gloss is worth the price, because you can find great glosses at drugstores for a reasonable price (using coupons make the purchase even sweeter). Secondly, the wand holds such a small amount that if you used it daily and want to repurchase, you would be spending a good amount of money. I would want a gloss with a good amount of product for the money that I pay for it. Third, the quality of the product, the packaging, even the scent of the gloss matches perfectly with the lipgloss that ELF sells for $1. There are cheaper dupes to this product that do the exact same thing. In my opinion, I would probably want to buy this again later on, but not individually. Your best bet is getting a set. The trios cost $12 so that's about $4 each, drugstore prices. — 1 year agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

just ok
I thought this gloss was just ok. It goes on a bit thick and gooey so it takes some practice to get the right amount. If I hit a slight breeze my hair would occasionally get stuck to my lips, kinda annoying. — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
