  Glue-like stickiness

  Because the product is so thick and sticky, it takes forever to come out on to the applicator. I had to click at least 3 times and only then did the product start oozing out. But then...too much of it came out! It did last a bit longer than some lip glosses but this is because it's sticky. The consistency almost reminds... me of MAC's Lipglass and I had to wear my long hair pulled back to avoid hair sticking to my lips. The gloss comes in a vast array of colors and scents which is a plus. My main gripe about it is the price. For twenty bucks, there's way too little product in the tube. I realize a little of this goes a long way but come on, this is just ridiculously too little. November 9, 2008, 12:36 am

  a waste of money

  i bought this and i do not like it, i think i used it for the first week and haven't touched it since. i actually dislike it enough to write a negative review of it, rather than simply never buying it again. the dispenser is TERRIBLE! there's either no lip gloss coming out or you get frustrated and click a million times and... it all comes out at once. ugh! also, it was gloopy on your lips, staying on for one second and then is gone the second you move your mouth. so yeah, basically it sucks. go for chanel glossimer instead or even victoria's secrets' version of juicy tubes.   Clickity Stick That I'll Stick With

  I used to eye these whenever I'd enter a Sephora shop but I had never paid enough mind to purchase one until one day I ran out of my MAC lipgloss in my favorite shade. So I was browsing through the store and found the color selection in my perfect taste especially since I'm not too fond of the opaque look of lipstick or ho...w drying it feels. I got this first in grapefruit and the first opinion I had of this was that it was thick and somewhat sticky when I tested it out but I realized that if I apply it thinly to my lips that they don't adhere at all and it doesn't feel heavy plus the benefit of enhancing my lip color because it's sheer yet pigmented so the result is a lush natural like finish with a hint of color. I went to the grocery store with this and ran errands for the day, this was my first day taking the gloss out for a spin and four hours later, I realized that it was still on and the pigment had lasted. So I'm loving this now but the hardest part is accepting that the product starts from the middle of the tube instead of the bottom and this is the amount I'm shelling out twenty dollars for that probably won't last me too long because I'm liking it so much that I'll probably be using this as my daily lip product.   LOVE this stuff

  I got this as part of the "Best of Stila Gift of Glamour" and probably never would have bought it on my own (because I've got too many lip products to use up as it is!). However, I'm SO glad that I got it because it's one of the best lip glosses I've tried, and I've tried a lot. For me, the difference is in the ...color -- it's not just a shine, it's got real color that really sticks to the lips -- and the texture, although it's a little thick to get on, once it's on the lips it feels great.   Where's My Gloss?

  That's usually what I resort to saying as I stare at it hoping the gloss will finally come out when I want it too. I twist it four times, yet again and wait, watching like somehow it will transform into something completely different. This gloss takes FOREVER to come out into the brush. Aside from that, I love it. The color...s are perfect, it has a great long lasting wear (aside from slight stickyness, god forbid cotton balls fly up to my mouth they would stick there forever), a yummy smell and come in such delectable shades such as vanilla, apricot, etc. I do love the brush applicator I find it so much chic-er than regular sponge applicators and makes placement that much more perfect. The waiting however really peeves me off, especially when I'm trying to apply quickly. That in itself kept this from being my holy grail lipgloss. February 21, 2008, 3:24 pm

  OK, but...

  I don't know what I'm missing about this stuff. Everyone seems to love it, but I just can't get on board. I bought the 'banana' color because i was looking for a nude lip look. The color is my favorite part, I do think that it is a nice shade. However, the container is a pain, it takes too long for the stuff to come out a...fter you click. It is messy and difficult to apply straight from the tube (yes, I could use a lip brush, but come on, I'm in a hurry!). And I think the shine factor is just a bit too high. Lastly, it is STICKY.   Pros and Cons Hmmmm!!!

  I really can't decide about this gloss. Pros- I love the feel to it, lasts pretty long and when the real shine is gone, I still have some color and shimmer left. I purchased the mini size so they fit in wallet easily. Nice selection of shades and no wand ... for some reason I am not a fan of wands. Cons-Pretty expensive... for the amount of product in each tube. With each click you get a measured amount of product, usually coming out in one big glob, so usually too much for one application. Not sure I will repurchase, as I can find similar products at a better price. November 27, 2007, 6:39 pm

  Shines like you mean it!

  I own these in various flavors and shades. They are perfect for a no-fuss yet put together look; just swipe one on for some color or shine and you are good to go. These are a bit sticky but I like that feeling, they stay on and give me just the right amount of color. I don't feel overly made up with these on and I don't fee...l bare-faced.   I love Stila lip glaze. I think the texture is great - glossy but not too sticky. It says on well and the colors are fabulous. My personal favorite is "Vanilla". I also love the twist up tube - but you have to be patient and not twist too much or it gushes out and then you've wasted an application.   This lip glaze goes on really smoothly. It's very shiny. It makes my lips look really full and beautiful. The colors are great. I love the grapefruit for a nice shine with my natural lip color. The raspberry gives me a nice pink, shiny wet look that's beautiful. But unfortunately, I'm allergic to this product. It makes my l...ips peel horribly the next day. March 23, 2008, 12:33 pm
