St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse Reviews

Best Self Tanner Out of Many
powerwoman033 (509 reviews)I tried the St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse with the mitt and I had the best results with this one. Unfortunately, my fair skin does not like to take self tanners so for me, I won't continue to buy it but I think the color and application mitt make this the best tanner out of the many I've tried. — 2 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Wow! Great color and it smells good.
italiaca (222 reviews)Great actual tan color, not orange at all. NO self tan smell. Just a fresh lotion type of smell. The mousse is pretty thin but applies easily, especially with the mitt. The mitt is genious! You just wipe the tanning mousse on, and it dries quickly. The dark color makes it really easy to see where you need to rub in a little more. So easy and so fast. The thing that takes the most time is washing out the mitt when you're done but it's well worth it! — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 6 people said helpful

DARK DARK TAN....
luxylexi (234 reviews)If you want a look that says "I've spent the past week in the Carribean" this is what you want. I've used the spray version and the lotion version, this one's my favorite; you're less likely to streak and it dries fast. I like the smell and so does my bf. This mousse isn't moisturizing at all so if your skin needs moisture apply it and wait a good half hour for it to sink in; St. Tropez makes and exfoliating gel and a lotion that are made specifically to aid the self tanner. Couple of warnings: one, wear gloves because this stains your hand+cuticles like crazy i even got the St. Tropez stain remover and it doesn't get it out of your cuticles, and two: Because this contains a bronzing agent in it for an instant brown look, it can stain your clothes and sheets. If there's a chance you may sweat within two hours of applying keep cool because sweat and water will spot your tan (I dripped water on my legs after washing my hands and ended up with white dots and tan legs lol) — 1 year, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

BEST TANNER!
ModernDayWriter (196 reviews)Amazing stuff. It goes on a dark olive poopy color and may look a little scary, but after you rinse off you are left with a bronze brown color that is not at all orange or fake looking. It is the most genuine tan color from a bottle that I have ever gotten, it is deep and dark (which is how I like it). It works fast too! When you put it on, you can see it on your skin immediately which helps you so you can see where you've already applied. It soaks into your skin faster than any other self tanner or lotion I've ever used. No more running around naked or standing in front of a fan waiting to dry before getting dressed! I've rinsed it off at the 5 hour mark and still have had great color. No weird smell either! Nothing is worse than that rotten fruit smell that most other tanners tend to have. My only small complaint is that the color does not last as long as the type you'd get from a gradual self tanning lotion. By 2-3 days my color is usually gone, even with diligent lotioning. But I really don't care, because the color is seriously that amazing. It's a pricey product, so I do tend to save it for special occasions. — 23 hours, 29 minutes agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Works pretty good
alissa929 (219 reviews)I was very hesitant to try a self tanner. I just wanted a little extra color. As long as this tanner is used properly, the color comes out evenly. It looks good, not 100% natural but gives the body color. — 4 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Eh
makeupqueen1221 (5 reviews)The color was really nice and everything but I later found out that it washes off very easily. Not exactly what you want from a self tanner — 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

In love with St. Tropez
beautycrush25 (1 reviews)Seriously in love with this self tanner. It gives you the perfect bronze color without the orange undertones. You can build up the color, I applied it three times a week and had the best tan in town. Great for any season and it looks amazing when you use Too Face Chocolate bronzer with it. — 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

The Best Thus Far!
Veruca (12 reviews)I've used several different self tanners through the years and this one is by far the best. No streaking, and the color looked natural. I was even able to fix a huge goof on my part. While painting my toe nails I knocked my nail polish remover over and it went all down my leg. This apparently takes off your tan so I had a huge streak going down my leg. So I quickly cleaned it up and reapplied the mousse. Perfect! Couldnt tell at all. The tan also seems to be lasting quite awhile....I'm still looking good after five days. I would certainly recommend this product. — 11 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

rachel_bo (20 reviews)perfect! smells good, doesn't go orange, doesn't streak, the tan lasts and lasts...i love it! unfortunately it gets a not so good safety rating from cosmetics database, so i took off one star. but other than that, it's perfect! — 1 year agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

9 Best Self-Tanners -
The healthiest tan i've ever had!
sammi (5 reviews)I'm in love with the self tanner. At first I was really skeptical. I have really fair skin and usually rely on a tanning bed to do the trick. (ouch!) With a recent scare with skin cancer I thought I would give self tanners one more chance. Before, I've gotten nothing but streaks or just a bright orange tint. After a co-worker (I work in a cosmetic store and won't name drop) recommended it to me as one of our best sellers I thought why not? It's our best selling tanner, right? I bought the tan remover along with it just incase I ended up orange as I expected. The next day I exfoliated, moisturized, and applied. WOW! It gives me the most beautiful tan I've ever had! I love this stuff! What I like to do is use the gradual tan with it. I use the gradual tan lotion every day and the mousse about every 2-3 days. I'll moisturize with the gradual, slop on some mousse let dry. Make sure you don't get it wet for four hours, even with lotion! Then halfway through the day or at night i'll put on some more gradual tan. I will never switch self tanners! — 1 year agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful
