This lotion tingles a little, so it feels like it's 'working.' It's better than most lotions out there. It's light, moisturizing, and only slightly oily (keep in mind I think every lotion except kinerase is oily). It gets a 2 on an oil scale of 1-10 (10 being very oily). One thing seems odd - if you rub the lotion on one side of you face, and finish the other side, when you return to the original side to rub just a little more into your skin, you get a white redidue flaking from your skin.
