Carmex Original Tube Reviews

I use to wear this.
The issue I have with this product is that although it seals in moisture, it is not improving my lips. Burt's Bees beeswax does that. I will not buy this again. — 2 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Love This!
Great product! Unique tip. Scent is good when you have a cold too, almost like Vicks. — 5 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Great inexpensive lip treatment
Not as tingly as Blistex balm, but the effect is similar. Great for those days when your lips are wrecked from the cold and dry weather and regular chapsticks just aren't cutting it. Layer it on thick before you go to bed and wake up with plump, well moisturized lips. A must have for winters. And I love the tube because it's a lot less messy and more sanitary than the little jar that you have to dip your finger into. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

True Classic
I always reach for Carmex when my lips are dry. I use this mostly overnight because the scent is quite strong. Also, because this formula seems to be so greasy, I prefer the twist-up tube packaging. — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Messy, but good!
I really like this stuff, a lot more than the jar. It goes on smooth, and looks like your wearing lipgloss, but its very moiturizing! It lasts long enough. My only problem is the packaging-yes, it's convinent but it's very messy! Plus the lid is very hard to get off. — 1 year, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

It's a 6
I bought the strawberry with spf 15, and it smells like medicine and tastes the same. It gets outside the lipline and looks like petroleum when it does. It's too shiny and slick for me, and it didn't really moisturize for me. All in all I didn't get the same results the other people did. — 2 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

cherry and pomegranate
I tried the original first and LOVED the way it made my lips look and feel, but I wasn't a huge fan of the taste/smell. I think the best thing CARMEX did was make flavorful ones. Cherry and Pomegranate are my favorites! There is also lime, strawberry, vanilla, and possibly others. This lip balm helps cracked, chapped, dry lips. One of my go to lip products for sure! — 3 weeks, 4 days agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Still can't get used to the smell
I've used Carmex for years and while it is a nice moisturizer and very cheap, the smell is so distinctive and not very pleasant. It's strong and medicinal. Everyone knows what Carmex smells like; when you smell it you never forget it. Carmex isn't my first choice but it's often the lip balm I turn to when stuck in the aisle at the grocery store and my lips need some lovin'. — 4 weeks, 1 day agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

So tingly!
I"m pretty sure I have a Carmex addiction. I have to keep a tube or a jar stashed in my purse, nightstand, on my bathroom counter, in my desk drawer at work, in my gym bag, and in every room in my house. Don't even get my started about the time I traveled to Italy and accidentally forget to pack my Carmex. It makes my lips smooths and moisturized and I love the way it makes them tingle. Please don't ever stop making Carmex! No other chapstick even comes close. However, I do prefer the stick or jar over this tube. If I do have to buy the tube, I find that squeezing a little on my finger is preferable to using the tube as a applicator. — 1 month, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
