Aveda Damage Remedy Restructuring Conditioner Reviews

This really works well on chemically treated hair.
I use it once a week. I apply it, put on a shower cap and wait 15 minutes before rinsing it out. It makes my hair soft and manageable and maintains the color of my hair. Highly recommend for color treated and/or permed hair. — 2 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 4 people said helpful

my go to shampoo.
This conditioner is awesome. The only thing I didn'y like was that it dosn't detangle as well as some. other than that it make my hair soft and smooth, and controls flyaways. — 3 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful

I'm lovin' it
This conditioner is amazing! I had damaged my hair from coloring it and using heat styling tools too often. This conditioner is full of quinoa protein that helps to heal damaged hair. I like that it is very thick and creamy, kind of like lotion. I leave it on for about five minutes everyday and rinse. My hair doesn't feel like dry straw anymore. It's hair is stronger, softer, and much easier to manage. I recommend trying this to anyone who has damaged their hair. It is kind of expensive ($24 for about 7oz) so I took off a star for that and I took off another star because it doesn't smell very good, but it does what it says it will. — 1 year, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

helps dry hair
My hair is very dry and I am always trying different things that never work but I decided to splurge and try this and after the first time I used it my hair felt (and looked) much better, well worth the price! — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Good Stuff
This is a really effective conditioner. Like other reviewers, I put this on under a shower cap & let it marinate for 10-15 minutes before rinsing. Leaves my hair super hydrated but I still have a small amount of frizz. I have yet to find any product that completely illiminates it. I am a fan of this stuff though. — 1 year, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

great fix ,pricey
This is a good cond ,for my wavy, frizzy hair, medium ,thick hair. I wish a cheap brand copy"the formula" so I can use more of it,my hair is long and can't spend $50 + a month in just conditioner…. — 3 weeks, 1 day agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Smooths dry hair!
Great for making dry, damaged hair soft and smooth. Works as a leave in too. Not the best for detangling and pretty expensive. Use it on the most damaged part of your hair. — 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

For shampoo and Conditioner
I love Aveda products, everything I have tried so far is amazing. The damage remedy shampoo and conditioner worked great on my hair I felt the texture improved. I love a shampoo that can make my hair feel light and fresh without thinning it and that is watch I felt. my hair was thick but did not weigh down and the smell is great. My hair felt smoother, cleaner and the texture improved. — 1 year agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

A new believer
I have fine hair that is dry and brittle from years of coloring and heat-styling. I had about given up on the hope that anything could "cure" the inevitable broken ends and flyaways. Then I tried Damage Remedy and am now a total convert. My hair is smoother, shinier and more manageable than I thought possible! I can't recommend this line highly enough for anyone with damaged hair. The conditioner hydrates and smooths so well without weighing hair down. Love it! — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
