  great oil-free foundation!

  i love this foundation! i have been a loyal user of bare minerals for the past 5+ years and have never thought i could like using a liquid foundation. i decided to purchase a liquid foundation for use as a "going out" make-up, and was very hesitant to switch over. i have oily, acne-prone skin and didn't think liqu...id would be the best choice for my skin. i was wrong! this foundation goes on light and doesn't get shiny after a whole day of wear or a night of partying. it sinks into my skin beautifully without a cakey look. i'm glad my first dip into liquid foundations has been a great success!   Beautiful coverage

  I've been searching for the perfect foundation for me for years, and I think I've finally found it. As soon as I first put it on, I noticed that it instantly smoothed out my face, all the discolouration disappeared and my face looked really bright. I have a tendency to get shiny as the day goes on, and this foundation hasn'...t done that to me. At the end of a long day, it still looked flawless.   Finally! A foundation for us pale girls

  In the olden days it was a sign of beauty to be pale. As we all know whether it's real or not tan is "in". However there are a few of us fair girls left searching for that elusive foundation that will match our skin tone. Most foundations are too yellow for for me and I look sick but I definately need the cover...age. This is perfect. It goes on very light and smooth, evening out my skin. And no yellow! I wear the lightest one and when I wear it my skin looks perfect. It's a little pricy, but definately worth it. May 31, 2008, 11:49 pm

  Despite of all the great reviews, I gave this one a shot. It's just like any other drugstore foundation. I find that my CoverGirl True Blend and Maybelline Mousse Matte appear to look better on my skin than this one. I noticed that my face was shiny and the coverage is a little too heavy it made me look too overdone. I rath...er stick to my drugstore foundation, plus it's too overpriced. August 29, 2008, 9:31 pm

  I have used this foundation for 8 years. I have EXTREMELY oily skin, and this foundation helps to control the oil. It is sooo smooth and covers your face flawlessly. I love it! March 28, 2008, 9:04 pm

  the God sent.......

  i have the worst skin ever............rosacea,acne vulgaris, extremely oily all over, very sensitive, huge pores. this is the perfect foundation for me. if u have a skin like mine, use this n chlorophyll gel from 'biotique' as a moisturizer. these 2 r the only things on earth which suit me. they make me so flawless that som...etimes i think i m deceiving the whole world very badly.....lol. i can't find any other place to tell about this chlorophyll gel. its an Indian product which is very easily available over the internet. i wish i could tell all the rosacea n oily skin sufferers about how amazing it is. this gel is just aloe vera, chlorophyll n water. it makes my skin so supple n also acts as a soothing agent for my redness n also as an antiseptic against acne. u have to try it if u have acne n oily n sensitive skin October 20, 2009, 2:06 pm

  Even coverage, slightly "heavy"

  Having oily skin I bought this foundation and gave it a try. It did cover well but was a little too heavy for me considering I didn't apply very much. I didn't notice any improvement in oil control but the foundation did stay colour true and lasted all day. Great variety in foundation shades too. April 29, 2008, 11:17 am

  Prescriptives is going out of buisness

  I was at my local Macy's and Bloomingdale's today and found out effective 12/31 Prescriptives will be closing. She did say that you can order the product online until they run out. I'm so upset. Virtual Matte Makeup is the only make up that keeps my oil under control... I love how natural it looks. The bad thing about i...t, they didn't have the shade that I wear so I wasn't able to stock up!!!! December 29, 2009, 6:36 pm

  A match for everyone!

  I am about as pale as a person can be. A wonderful woman at perscriptives spent an hour and a half making a costum blend that is Amaizing. It is a perfect match to my skin. She did a color analysis and was able to help me determine what shades would complement my skin. She also showed me many makeup tricks I have never see...n before. I highly recomend going to one of their counters before they close and get a color analysis done if nothing else. Most people have worked there for years and just want to share their knowledge before it closes. December 18, 2009, 7:10 pm
