Bumble and bumble Curl Conscious Creme is excellent at coaxing curls out of slightly wavy hair while leaving strands soft, not crunchy. Apply a generous amount all over, then scrunch or use fingers to form whatever size curls you want. Ideally you should let strands air-dry, but if you're time crunched, use a diffuser to blow-dry and only minimal frizz will appear. Unfortunately, the cream weighs strands down (good for thick hair types), but it's a small price to pay for well-defined curls.

I LOVE this product!! My hair is just about halfway between straight and curly, that akward wave that can never be left alone, I either have to straighten or curl my hair and using gel and whatever else to get the curls to come out always leaves it crunchy and just not what I want it to look like. Then I tried this product...! I straightened my hair A LOT more than I ever curled it before I found this product, now it is sooo much easier to leave it curly and it comes out looking great! GREAT NEVER CRUNCHIE

    by TDaniel123 (5 reviews)
I tried this creme last week and I love it. I have long, very curly, coarse, dry hair. I no longer have to use a defrizzer cream, gel and hairspray. This product takes care of it all. I hope they never stop making it. May 1, 2008, 4:02 pm

    Fantastic

I usually flat iron my hair straight, but on those days when I can't be bothered, I use B&B Curl Conscious Cream in Wavy Woman. It gives curls a real boost without being crunchy or sticky, and I get soft, full curls and smoothed out texture. It totally eliminates frizz, and unlike most smoothing serums, it doesn't cre...ate grease or weigh your hair down, no matter how much you use. I also learned a trick from my hair dresser when I purchased this, which I think really helps define curls. I squirt a quarter sized amount into the palm of my hand and add a bit of water to thin the product out. Then I just gently comb my fingers through my dry hair. This really allows the curls to revive (since moisture always brings out curls) and allows the product to be distributed more evenly throughout the hair. Of course, you can also use on damp or wet hair for the same effect. January 3, 2008, 11:14 am

    soft and frizz free

    by DtotheR (5 reviews)
My hair is deceptively thick and slightly wavey. You wouldn't say that I have curly hair...unless I use this! This product is great for giving my hair curl and definition without the crunchies or looking greasy. April 22, 2008, 2:29 pm

this is by far one of the best products for wavy/hair. it's the only one i've found so far that eliminates frizz and creates definition without being heavy and weighing your hair down. it smells nice and it really works. i like to use it when my hair is damp. i just distribute is evenly, concentrating on my tips and twirls ...sections for added deifinition. i let my hair air dry and it's great. i also blow dry when i want more body and volume. i'll use this forever! No More Crashing Waves

    by LaCoop2 (9 reviews)
I have lots of thick and wavy hair so can attest to this product's effectiveness. But the real test was to discover that my adult daughters' were using it too! It makes my waves more dramatic and defined, not springy. It makes my hair sooo soft and never heavy. Take it with you to tropical or humid destinations. I had it i...n my bag in Mexico and EVERYBODY wanted to try it. It works great in this climate and is the best alternative to blow-drying in jungle environments regardless if you are curly or straight. November 20, 2007, 12:14 am

    SOFT curly hair

    by jessi61083 (3 reviews)
I honestly never thought that my heart and hair would ever heal when Physique's curl cream was pulled off the market. It was one of the first non-gel curl products and remains, in my mind, one of the best. All that aside, after reading so many great reviews on NaturallyCurly.com, I couldn't resist. And my stylist told ...me to buy it which usually does the trick:) It's pretty perfect. The texture is creamy but not pasty and more importantly my hair is soft and not crispy, held but still with a nice loose romantic shape to the curl. And...it smells good. And I'm not the only person who thinks so ....;) October 9, 2007, 6:57 pm

The greatest thing for curly heads

    by beatler (4 reviews)
I spent three decades enduring all manner of hair care products - not to mention stylists who claimed to know how to cut/finish my mane- in an attempt to tame or just plain live with my very naturally curly head. I have a lot of hair that's very fine in quality and B&B's Curl Conscious line handles it beautifully. Never... sticky, never limp, never feeling coated or processed, my hair is now a devoted convert to the B&B Curl Conscious line! March 25, 2008, 11:36 pm

Great in combination for curly hair

    by zucchetto (10 reviews)
This product is great, but I find it works best for my long very curly hair in combination with a few other products. After my shampoo and conditioner, I comb through a leave-in conditioner/detangler (I use VO5 to save a few dollars). Then I work about a nickel sized dollop of curl creme through my hair, and follow up wit...h Bumble and Bumble's Thickening Spray. I blow dry with a diffuser, using some aerosol hair spray to help with hold and volume. February 6, 2008, 5:30 am

All in How You Use It

I bought this a couple months ago (the Wild Child) version and wasn't too happy with it. I just revisited it this week and decided to give it another chance. After really putting some effort into it, I found that although I didn't have as many waves as I normally do, they were waaaaaaay softer and more defined. Put it in yo...ur hands and twirl and curl you hair around your fingers rather than run it through your hair. Scrunching helps too. December 12, 2007, 3:06 pm
