Too drying on fine hair

I used this a couple times in the past and its way to drying on my hair. If I use a lot of it to compensate for the drying it makes my hair too greasy. I can't find a middle ground. I was so disappointed with this shampoo. I can't believe I wasted so much money on it. The scent was pleasant but when I used the shampoo it made my hair clumpy feeling. This shampoo has proven valuable to me since my hair recently underwent severe damage. It does not strip the hair of its natural oils, and unlike most shampoos does not leave damaged hair matted after lathering up.
