Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Shampoo
Editor's Rating & Review
I've used this ginger-scented classic on and off since age 12, when I found it under my mother's bathroom sink. (I don't buy it because I'd rather spend less on the comparable Suave Professionals Humectant Shampoo.) The translucent formula doesn't weigh down normal to fine hair but does come up short on moisture for super-dry or color-treated hair. It also claims to double as a body wash, but most shampoos can be used that way.

My past favorite
It used to be one of my essential shampoo. I like the scent of Hawaiian Ginger. It makes my hair soft and manageable, but I found that nowadays there are many new shampoo products that will do the same/better job for a lot less price. Therefore, this is no longer a must-shampoo for me. — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

awapuhi, classic
i remember going to camp when i was in 6th grade and when we had to go to the showers i left my bath bag in the shower lodge. another girl brought it back to me, not because i had my name on it, but because they assumed the PM awapuhi shampoo HAD to be mine, because of my super shiny and awesome hair. it was such a compliment, even at that age when everyone has great hair. i still get this sometimes for nostalgia....and because it really does leave you with soft, shiny hair. — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful
