It used to be one of my essential shampoo. I like the scent of Hawaiian Ginger. It makes my hair soft and manageable, but I found that nowadays there are many new shampoo products that will do the same/better job for a lot less price. I love the scent of this product and it leaves my hair with great shine, that even my customers would come up to me and comment about the shine my hair had. Is a bit expensive, but the way the grocery store prices are getting I may go back to buying this more often. I originally bought this because I remember my mom using it years ago. I always like Paul Mitchell products because they're cheaper than most salon brands. This shampoo smells wonderful, lathers nicely from a small amount, and cleans my hair without weighing it down. It's a bit volumizing (I guess) but it doesn't moisturize my hair at all if used by itself. I have color treated hair so maybe this wasn't the best choice for me when I used it... I felt like my hair got drier! In my opinion, it's just an okay cleanser and I could get the same result for half the cost with a drug-store brand. I love most Paul Mitchell products and I was surprised I wasn't wowed by it, but then again-- I don't think I have the right hair type.
