If this product were rated on the springy-ness it provides alone, it would get a 10. The bamboo proteins in this spray work some sort of voodoo magic to make curls into perfectly shaped, people-stop-you-on-the-street-to-compliment-your-hair spirals. But it's not all roses and daisies: While it does add shine, it doesn't moisturize as well as it promises. So in the end, you'll need to pair it with a leave-in conditioner to tame frizz.

      great for naturally curly hair

      My hairdresser recomened this for my naturally curly hair and I found it really helped keep my curls looking fresh and not frizzy. I don't always wera my hair curly but when I do it is nice to have a product that will give consistent results each time. February 10, 2008, 6:42 am

      Yes, this makes my wavy hair very curly which I like. Although I like this effect, I will not be repurchasing because it really dries out my hair. April 28, 2009, 10:21 am

      Makes great curls, but..........

      I agree with the previous reviewer who said this makes the best curls. I too had the greatest defined curls while using this product, over just about any other I've tried (and I've tried many), but after a couple of months I noticed that it was really drying out my hair. The second and third ingredients (after water) are al...cohol. I have an oily scalp and fine hair and after prolonged, daily use, the ends started to look stiff, straight and dry. It's too bad because I did have the springiest, defined curls..... for a while. November 18, 2008, 3:28 am

      Coaxes out curls

      Scrunching this product product into wet hair creates perfect little spirals. This has been the best product I've found to make my wavy hair curly. Still, it leaves a bit to be desired. Goldwell claims that their curl spray moisturizes and adds shine, but I haven't experienced either. Therefore, I use a leave-in conditioner... when I'm planning on going curly and babysit my hair as it dries to add moisture or volume where I see fit. Otherwise, I'll end up with frizzy curls that just hang there. The other problem with this spray is that the results don't last. My hair looks great in the morning, but by lunch I'm brushing out my limp, tangled curls and making do with a ponytail for the rest of the day. November 11, 2008, 9:11 pm

      Loop Hair Spray

      I tried this for the first time today. So far so good! My curls looked better than ever. My hair was still dry though so I will have to use and additional ptoduct tomorrow. It is worth it to me because I have not found a curl enhancer as well as this. September 19, 2008, 8:01 pm
