A super-effective, salon-grade styling aid that gets high marks for accurate claims: a "root boost spray for the ultimate lift" that "makes hair feel thicker and stronger." Just spritz towel-dried roots for the effect of Velcro rollers without the effort. It pumps up even fine hair extremely well. The trademarked FlexShine ingredient seems odd given that this is a root product. It does add body when stroked through hair overall but you won't notice any real shine.

    this product works pretty good but there is a product line named Fudge that has an amazing "root lifter" named Root Juice. your hair really looks fuller and there is not stiffness to it December 5, 2007, 9:37 pm

    Love this product

    I used to use this root lifter before I started to color my hair. Now I use the Goldwell with color protection from their luxury line. If you don't color your hair and need a root lifter this is the product. It is worth every penny. March 20, 2008, 12:49 pm

    The best volumizer I've found, but still not great

    I spritz this onto a weird "flat spot" I have on the top of my head that has resisted all volumizing efforts. This product has done the best so far of coaxing it to the same level as the rest of my hair and it does so without excessive stickiness or stiffness. Still, the search isn't over yet.     Best one I've found

    I've tried Fekkai, Redken, KMS... This is the best rootlifter and volumizer I've found. The smell is wonderful...tulips or something? I can vouch that it works equally well for baloney-curl curly girls (me) and those with pin-straight locks (my roommate). There is no stickiness. My only gripe is that I use it up in 3 we...eks and the bottle is small and for $18 a pop, well, it's a shame. May 6, 2009, 8:48 am

    This is a great poriduct for instant hair repair, because it adds volume and lift to your roots and makes your hair feel healthier. I liked that it added thickness and volume and made my roots feel plumper and my hair look better. October 5, 2008, 12:54 am
