We curly people are special. We can't cope with humidity. We can't run into the 7-Eleven after a day at the beach and not scare the clerk. Help can be found in this mid-weight curl-defining lotion, which consolidates smaller curls into smoother, defined sections. As hair dries, a wheat protein/aloe mix contracts to hold curls together, lessening unruly frizz. For styling structure or hold, you'll need to add a product. Ditto for shine enhancement.

LEAVES A STICKY MESS!
This is a terrible product. I like to scrunch my hair to make it curly. It's straight on the front and curly in the back. I thought this would be a good product to hold the curl in the straight area of my hair. It held the curl all right, but with a gooey, creepy feeling on my hair. Just Okay
I think drug-store products work as well, if not better than this one, and for the price, I don't think it's worth it. It gave a little moisturizing. Maybe it was the wheat complex. But I didn't find the curls more defined like you see in the picture. It makes me think, "Is this REALLY the product being used for these fabulous curls?" Perhaps I'm using it wrong. So if you'd like to moisturize frizzy hair and then scrunch it while still damp to get better results, then purchase an Aveda product that's mediocre.
