what a waste

I have almost used an entire bottle of this, over about four months. Recommended to me by my best friend I decided to try it. It did absolutely nothing for my breakouts and didnt prevent me from getting new ones, however it did not irritate my skin or cause it to dry out either. Its good for daily use if all you want to do is manage oily skin. If you actually want to cleanse your skin and get rid of blemishes, better to try something else

not so good for my skin

My skin is sensitive and I had break out most of the times. With this my skin is worst with lots of pimples.

Will never look back!

I'm 36 and have struggled with finding a face wash that takes all my makeup off, including eye makeup, and doesn't leave me dried out or, worse, oily after using it. The first day I tried Cetaphil facial cleanser, I was hooked. It does everything. It is soft and silky when I'm using it. I doesn't have any irritating fragrance. I really think it is the perfect skin cleanser. In fact, I believe it has actually calmed my skin and evened out the coloring on my face. I have been using it for 6 months now and I no longer have the minor chin blemishes I used to get. I can't believe that all these years it's been on the drugstore shelves and I never tried it. I use much less makeup now and am very confident in my skin. I will never use another product. All that AND it's so cheap!

okay cleanser

I would say this is an okay cleanser but for my oily-acne prone skin, this does absolutely nothing for me. I feel like it does not clean my skin that well. Also, my skin gets oilier when I use this. This product doesn't break me out which is good but unless this is the only cleanser around, I will not be using this.

Good Product

I used to use this product for a couple of months. For the price of the product, I feel it worked very well. The cleanser was an easy apply and wash, and for the most part keeps acne away. However, it made my skin feel dry so I now use a different product that I like better. Though it made my skin dry, since all skin types are different, I would suggest it for someone that is looking for a new cleanser.

3 words: Sodium Lauryl Sulfate

I used to use this alot, until I realized it's got sulfates. What a disappointment! People use this product partly because they think it's gentle, but it's not. Cetaphil needs to find an alternative!

Not drying

I saw this a few time on the drug store, but never desire to get it. So this time, I ran out my Laneige multi cleanser and had no change to re-order it yet. I try to get other cleaner, but ends up with this one. This actually make my skin feels so smooth and moisturize. What I don't like is that it seems like all my make up still stuck on my face, so I always wash my face twice when I'm using this. But again, this still a good cleanser fro my combination skin.

Works Well

After reading some reviews on several sites for a daily cleanser that would not dry me completely out. I took Accutane for my acne, yet a year after, it has started to come back. As a guy, I never washed my face with anything, but a few days into this and I enjoy it. It comes out of the pump clear, has a very slight lather, and rinses clean without over drying.

2 YEAR LOYALITY!

I have been using Cetaphil, since it was recommended by my dermatologist two years ago. My skin is very sensative, so I need a cleanser that would clean and not dry out. Two yearslater, and I'm still hooked. They have a normal and a sensative, that is more creamy. I recommend the creamy, because it dosen't dry your face out.

Face still burning hours later...

Perhaps I have sensitive skin and didn't know it. I was so excited to try this after reading so many positive reviews. I was ready for the consistency, which reminds me of a thinner, watered down aloe vera gel. It had an interesting smell that lingered on my face after washing, reminiscent of a product you would use on a baby. Not overpowering but still.... It didn't lather either. I was expecting...read more ALL of that. What I wasn't expecting was the intense burning and stinging it caused on my face. Like someone poured hot wax all over my face and yanked it off. It's still burning 15 hours later. I have very oily skin and my face felt completely STRIPPED. I usually give a product 2 chances, but no on this. Your face shouldn't be in agony hours later.
