One of the best cleansers, but..
it has parabens :( I love, love this cleanser. It's great for my sensitive, oily/combination skin, but it also doesn't dry out my skin. Most people don't know, but parabens may be carcinogens and that is why most companies have begun to take these ingredients out of their products. Any related beauty product has the possibility of containing parabens. Works well if you're on acne medication
My dermatologist gave me this while I was on accutane treatment some years ago. It helped relieve my dry skin, but left a whitish sticky residue which I didn't like. Gentle and Just Great !
I was recommended cetaphil by my dermatologist when i was a teenager and it was excellent then and still is to my skin today. In fact i probably love it even more because its so gentle to my skin, really does clean the pores and smoothes out my skin. As im getting older my skin is more dry than what it was when i was a teen, and so i do look for cleansers that aren't as harsh or strip oil too much. Ugh!
I tried this, a few times. When I relise it wasn't doing anything to my skin, I thought it was one of those products you have to wait to see results. But it made my skin redder, bit softer, too gentel and broke me out more. Hones, I do NOT reccomend this product. Great, gentle cleanser
I definitely agree with some of the ladies when they say it's not enough to remove some makeup. I wear little to no face makeup for every day, so this cleanser seems to be effective enough for that. However, when I go out or wear heavier night makeup, I do find that I need to use makeup towlettes first, then use the cleanser. Great cleanser for sensitive, dry skin though and it's amazing in the mo...read morerning, pre-makeup. I tried a wide variety of facial cleansers before this and can't remember the last time I broke out. I think some people may not like it because it's non-foaming; they may feel like it doesn't give their face that "squeaky clean" feel, but it really does clean well while moisturizing. Great cleanser for all skin types.
A girlfriend of mine with sensative skin used this cleanser and I always thought that it was specifically for sentative skin. I finally tried it out and loved it. It's light and gentle and cleans my face wonderfully. It leaves my skin soft and hydrated even in this harsh winter weather. I also tried it out on my 4 year old son's face when he got messy and even he loved it saying, "this feels good ...read moreon my face mom!" Best everyday product
I use this product day and night and it's the best product I've found! I have combination skin and this product is so gentle, it keeps my skin clear and fresh feeling everyday. I used to use harsher face cleansers with salycilic acid and my skin was also so up and down with breakouts. staple for dry to normal skin
Ive tried both dry/ normal and normal/oily cleanser and the later was too drying for me. My doctor recommended this for daily use and ive noticed its always in the hospital / pharmacies, thats because you really can use this on super sensitive skin and you dont even need water, I am a life time user, but its only downside is getting the last of it out of the weird bottle shape and that its a littl...read moree hard to travel with because of the pump (some come with a cap) but it is the final step of my cleansing because it may not take off makeup or excess oil as well as similar (but not as gentle) products.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful
