    Hate it with a passion

My friend has bad acne and uses this and it works great for her, she suggested i use it because I was breaking out worse than usual. It was horrible. My skin felt extremely dry, tight and itchy. Then I noticed that I got red blotches all over my face. I am NEVER using this product ever again.

    Not for me

Ok, I know, I know this is recommended by dermatologists and we should all be using it. Yea, not for me. I have combination/oily skin and I feel like it doesn't really clean my skin. And because it's so creamy I feel like I can't wash it off my skin and it's just laying there. Ugh!

Gentle Skin Cleanser not Daily Facial Cleanser

My rating is for the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser. My mother bought the Daily Facial Cleanser, so I tried it and it was watery and dried out my skin. I have super dry skin and use the Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion after every washing even with the Gentle Skin Cleanser. I like how the Gentle Skin Cleanser can be used without water- for even extra moisture :) I don't use very much make up becaus...read moree I also have sensitive skin. I don't think it's for everyone, but a must for those with super dry and sensitive skin.

Cetaphil and I are close :)

I absolutely love this cleanser. Is not a surprise that now that I reached the big 3-0 my skin doesnt react the same to the face wash of my youth and 20s (Oil Free Neutrogena). Cetaphil is very mild yet efficient. As other reviewers state - it is not strong enough to remove makeup on its own. For this you have two choices, either use a makeup remover before or just do a double wash :) Efficient, simple and affordable

    Use with acne treatment!

Alone, this may not help with acne whatsoever, but it will still clean your face off from the day. However, I use this every night with my clindoxyl gel and I've been getting compliments on my skin ever since! Because you don't want to use harsh acne treatment with harsh cleanser, use something light (and I recommend Cetaphil) with your treatment for good results with minimal damage or irritation.

    Great Gentle Cleanser

This was recommended to me by my dermatologist when I was in high school. 8 years later I still rotate this cleanser into my beauty regimen. I alternate this with a glycolic cleanser and I feel like it balances out my skin. And you can't beat the price!

    Great for Eczema

It doesn't get anymore gentle than this. I have REALLY bad eczema underneath my eyes, so when I use my prescription ointment, it gets into my eyes causing them to become super irritated. Also gives it a burning sensation. So I went to see my optometrist, and she told me to do a lid wash day, and night. And wala, the irritation is gone. It helped my eczema, but not a lot. I also use this afte...read morer I use make up remover as recommended by my optometrist as a part of my cleaning regime. Very Gentle.

    Fantastic

This product does not dry out your skin at all. If you use this product twice a day, it will remove all oil without over drying your skin. You can find it at any drugstore and it will cost about $8-$10.

    Definitely a staple

Although this product definitely cleared my complexion a bit, I still get breakouts. They aren't cystic, but i think This is a staple to have because it doesn't aggravate or dry out the skin! I don't mind the no-lather part, and the scent isn't bad. If I wear makeup though, I do wash my face twice. Once to get the makeup off and twice to actually clean it.

    Love the gentleness

Cetaphil removes the dirt, makeup and eye makeup without any irritation. It is a fabulous cleanser to use after having a chemical peel as well! Love it.
