I have never used a toner, felt that it was not needed. I rec'd this as a gift and LOVE it! It removes any reside from your cleanser (especially great when using a grainy scrub-takes those last few impossible-to-remove grains right off!) Received a sample of this with a gift with purchase, and though it is somewhat heavy for my normal/combination skin, I used this on my neck and decollete area with impressive results. My skin looks years younger, and feels wonderfully smooth. I just love the way that Lancome Absolue Premium makes my skin feel. After I shower I apply this product on my face-wish I could afford to use it as a body lotion (expensive)- nonetheless, it makes my skin feel so hydrated and EXTREMELY soft. It's kind of funny because after I apply it, every once in a while I like to feel my face cause' it really does make your face feel that smooth. I'm in my mid 20's and starting to notice my first signs of aging. I got this as a sample and decided to give it a try. It made my skin feel very soft, actually probably the softest its felt in awhile. However, I have also try Olay Regenerist. At my age, I prefer the Regenerist. At about a fifth of the price, I'd say if you are in your mid 20's to 30's you can probably get by with Olay if you are wanting to get a head start on preventing the signs of aging. Living in California is a drying experience, no matter what your age...like slowly creating freeze-dried apples. With Absolut I find that that sun drenched skin becomes moisture quenched immediately, and the feeling lasts throughout the day. Ultimately I noticed a remarkable difference in my skin where people were constantly commenting on how beautiful my skin looked at the ripe old age of 95. I still don't look like a freeze dried apple. Thank you Lancome! P.S. The lotion also imparts a soft glow immediately somehow. It instantly makes my face feel nice and smooth. It even has a nice smell to it. I have sensitive skin and didn't have any problems with this product.
