This is the little black dress of face creams. It's a classic medium-thickness nighttime moisturizer (or daytime if your skin's dry) that's scent-free, so soothing and highly moisturizing. After trying various creams with retinols, AHAs, etc., it's nice to use a simple cream that will hydrate, period. This contains Antarcticine (a glycoprotein) and imperata cylindrica (desert plant) extract, which both add moisture while helping skin retain water. It's the perfect way to soothe and protect dehydrated, winter-abused skin.

    I have never experienced my skin being this dry, up until this winter. Most often my skin tends to drift towards the oily side, so I searched around a bit before i felt i could buy a mousturizer for dry skin without looking too shiny. This cream has done a great job of giving my skin that extra hydration without going over ...the top. I think this is great for people who are suffering from winter skin. Not too expensive either!     Good Moisturizer

    I'm not in love with this moisturizer. It does the job it's supposed to. It moisturizes and doesn't clog my pores or irritates my face. It's also unscented. I got it for free from the NM Kiehl's GWP, so I won't purchase again. I'm way too in love with Cream de La Mer. But if you're looking for a good moisturizer that's not ...scented, I would suggest this one. March 31, 2008, 3:59 pm

    Great product for winter

    I love this face cream and it's possibly the best I've ever used. I live in a very dry climate with 5-6 month winters and this is what i count on to keep my face from freaking out. You can see the results of this face cream in about 4 days and your skin fells great the secound you appily it. Better is the light wight that... still gives plenty of moisture to your skin.     Excellent for nightime and daytime use.

    I have used a lot of moisturizers and this by far is the best. I have oily skin and it is light enough to wear during the day. I use at night before bed and I saw a difference in my skin in about five days. It is great for the winter time. November 13, 2007, 10:57 am

    Great For Oily/Sensitive Skin

    Kiehl's scores again with this moisturizer. I am normally prone to breakouts after using a new moisturizer (I have tried drugstore versions to all-natural expensive kinds) but am really happy with this face cream so far.     good, not awesome

    this is a good basic face cream but I found I needed alot to do what some other face creams (ex. kiehls creme de'elegance) do with less. It's probably perfect for a summer moisturizer or for someone with very normal skin. My skin is moderately dry and this doesn't quite do it for me. June 18, 2009, 9:44 pm
