Soothing
I got a sample of this and love it. The only thing is that it does not contain any SPF. But other than that it's perfect. — 5 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 4 people said helpful

For oily skin
I was recommended this cream by a Body Shop salesperson. I have oily skin and suffer from adult acne. Although this did not cause breakouts, it did not do much for existing pimples either. I decided not to continue using it because now I also need anti-aging moisturizer or something to reduce my sun-damage/wrinkles too. But if you are looking for simple/light moisturizer, this is a good one. — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

Aloe Day Cream
I have sensitive/reactive skin that HATES sunscreen Sunscreen burns and makes me flush horribly so this fragrance-free sunscreen-free moisturizer was perfect for me. The SPF in my tinted moisturizer works for when I get outside, I guess. If you react to everything, this moisturizer is for you! — 1 year, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

Smoothing, Soothing, Softening
Very nourishing product. Very. I find moisturizers heavy regardless if they're oil free or not quite often so I usually just stick to gel moisturizers and emulsions or even sheer hydrating sprays but this is a little wonder in a jar. First of all, it's aloe - one of the most caring ingredients that is natural and good for the skin and aloe has been known to even skin tones, reduce redness and skin stress, and even deliver a natural hydrating layer that absorbs into the skin which lasts longer than ordinary artificial moisturizers because the skin fully absorbs and stores it. This is what this moisturizer does. I break out to many moisturizers ranging from mass retail to department store retail, it doesn't really make a difference but this is really light and non-greasy as well as very sheer. It makes my skin feel soft to the touch and even to the look yet the smell isn't even bothersome, it's actually a reminder of fresh milk or something rather soft in someway. They got their description down to a tee when they said it is an aloe soothing day cream because it delivers its promises, at least in my opinion. — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 7 of 9 people said helpful

Awesome even if you don't have sensitive skin
The cashier gave me a bunch of samples of these, and grateful to be rid of my only other moisturizer for the day (Seaweed Mattifying with SPF..mattifying..sure) I didn't waste any time using them. They were not greasy, but still moisturizing in the places I needed it the most. It didn't inflame my skin in any way, which is the point? You only need a little bit to moisturize your entire face, so don't be put off by the price. — 4 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Nothing Special
There isn't much to say about this day cream, other than it's just a cream. There are so many out there that make your face feel wonderful and really hydrated. This isn't one of them. I used most of the container because I liked the smell...but after a while I felt like it was hardly penetrating or moisturizing really well. I guess maybe this is for people with sensitive skin, but if you dont have super sensitive skin then I say pass. If you just happen to like the body shop then they have better creams than this. (I'm a big fan of body shop). I saw pass on this one. — 1 month, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Does the job!
The entire aloe line by The Body Shop is a very effective and calming line. I use this day cream after cleansing with a mild foaming Cetaphil cleanser. I use the aloe toner, in the same product line, after cleansing and before moisturizing, only in the evenings. This cream is not heavy or greasy, nor does it clog my pores, or contribute to my breakouts. I recommend this cream, which is not too thick, either, for any type of skin, as it is the perfect consistency, non-greasy, does not smell of anything, and immediately calms the skin. — 2 weeks, 5 days agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Gentle Moisturizer With Funky Scent
This stuff is amazing for sensitive skin, it's super gentle. For a cream, it's very light which I prefer yet it still moisturizes well. I have sensitive/combo skin and I find that using this on days where my skin is dry works better because it sometimes makes my face look too shiny. This would've gotten 10 stars if it weren't for that really funky odor! It literally smells like mold, absolutely NO aloe scent whatsoever. It does go away fairly quickly but sometimes I just have to pass it up. I've heard of other people getting "bad batches" from other TBS products and the first time of using this product, I seriously thought I was one of them. — 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Awesome for dry, sensitive skin!
I bought this because I was having problems with dry scaly patches on my face and it was AMAZING! It reduced the redness on my face and cleared up my dry skin entirely within one week. It is very soothing on your face and I love that it is unscented, it literally smells like nothing. It's not greasy and doesn't make your face shiny or anything like that! — 2 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
