YUCK!!!
This is probably the worst moisturizer I've ever used, and that's saying a lot. Right when I opened the bottle, it smelled like chemicals. When I put it on my face, it felt so greasy and gross. The next morning when I'd look in the mirror, my face still looked greasy and shiny (not in a good way either). It looked like I had just ran a mile. It also did not help get rid of my pimples. well i thought its great

It's not that great.
I bought the Proactiv Kit. All the products were horrible, including this one. It made my skin dry and flaky. It also caused me to break out more. Economically, it's horrible a buy. You buy the set and it's relatively inexpensive. Proactive Repairing Lotion
This was the only product out of the standard 3 piece set that came close to doing what it was supposed to. As some have already mentioned, this product does have a strong chemical smell. ANTI-REPAIRING!
this product actually caused my skin to rash, not heal. not recremended for sensitive skin. AT ALL. the smell is rancid, it beaches skin, has no spf. its jus horrible. sorry proactiv. but the gentle version, smells good, feels good, IS good. id recremend that. Works Well With The Other 2 Steps
I would not recommend using this without the other steps, especially the toner -- because of the benzoyl peroxide and whatever else is in it, it does dry your skin and you need to start off with clean and well-moisturized skin. And then, after using this lotion, I recommend using another "moisturizing" lotion to keep your skin from drying out. But that's what it's supposed to do -- kill ...read morebacteria and dry out pimples! I haven't tried the Proactiv moisturizers, but they make a couple that would probably be good to add after the repairing lotion. Whenever I do have a pimple, I usually rub some of this lotion directly into it with a Q-tip or my finger. It works! Gentle and moisturizing.
This lotion works very well and is unlike any other ance lotion or cream I've used before. This leaves my face moist and not flaky. I've been a faithful user of the Proactiv system for about 9 years now and I will not be swayed into using anything else or the supposed "latest and greatest." NOT a Proactiv Fan
I'm in my very early 40s and still get blemishes (ugh!) but tried all the Proactiv family to get rid of minor scarring. Proactiv Customer Service assured me that my very sensitive skin wouldn't have problems with the products and that it would clear up my scarring. WRONG! bye bye acne!
I tried Proactiv when nothing seemed to work for me. Most of the products were salcylic acid, which for some reason, makes my acne worse, instead of better. A friend used ProActiv so I tried it. Love it! I am in my late 30's, and this is the only system that has kept the acne at bay. I miss it when I can't get it (a little pricey for me sometimes).
