Kills bacteria. May be to strong for skin.
I use the three step skin care including this repairing lotion. You instanlty pick up the acne killing ingredients such as Benzoyl Peroxide. This is known to be the "acne killer" as i was told in the skin care line. The lotion went on goopy but clear. After a while it got a little un comfortable. It may be a little harsh and or drying for dry sensitive skinners so you may have to use eve...read morery other day as it was for my very dry skinned sister. Other wise it soaked into the skin and did its work. Made my acne prone oily skin soft and supple... but wasn't exactly a miracle. It makes me red and i can only use this at night. Honestly: I don't think proactiv works for the majority of the population
I don't like this product. I got it hoping that it would cure my acne that got worse during college, and it made it worse. I'm left with dry skin that I'm trying to repair now. It helped minimally with my blemishes. I don't recommend this product because most friends I know that have used it hadn't benefited from it. Great!
I've been using the repairing lotion since I was 16 and I would NEVER ever stop using it. I'm not sure if I've been brainwash but I seriously noticed that my acne had improved by 120% all because of Proactiv. I don't mind the 'medicine' smell because that's what gets me using it. AMAZING!
I am 38 years old and have acne ALL of my life. I have even taken Accutane for cystic acne. NOTHING has ever worked, until I started using Proactiv. I took several prescriptions, including Retin A. AMAZING
With this product, I have learned to be absolutely shocked whenever a pimple shows up on my face. Just put some of this on every night and the worst thing that shows up is a little redness where a pimple miiiight form... but never does because this lotion is MAGIC. Just remember, don't go out without putting sunblock on because it does make your face sensitive. A product that actually works!!
I have been using this product for years. My mother made me start using it. Now 5 years later swear by it! I hope they never go out of business because there is no other product that can do what proactiv can! The chemicals are not harsh and you will see results in about 3 days. This product keeps my skin refreshed and young looking. I recommend this to all my friends and family. Dries skin

Terrible for sensitive skin!!
