Best if used alone
I had the same results as the other reviewer; if you use this as a base coat or under a base coat (under other polish period) then it's going to chip off cleanly and completely within a day. However, this is great to use a lone. It keeps my nails hard. didnt work for me

Horrible.
I put this on under polish, and the WHOLE nail worth of polish slipped--not chipped--right off of my nail! I figured something went wrong, so I redid the nail with the basecoat. And it happened again! Threw it away
I love every other Orly product I've tried - but this was AWFUL. Within 24 hours it chipped and flaked off - a few times all the polish off a nail flaked off in one big piece. Try Again
I used Orly's Calcium Shield for years, and thought I'd try some of their other products. This product, Tough Cookie, however, should be pulled from the shelves. It starts flaking and peeling the day after you put it on, so obviously it's not going to do anything for your nails. You may as well not have anything on your nails if you're going to try to use this.
