Flawless with the Brush
If you want to re-create the flawless look that your makeup artist created on your face at the amazing MAC counter, use the brush with this product. In the summer, the product tends to be shiny around your T-Zone area but that can be taken care of with oil blotting sheets. Not good for everybody
I tried Mac Studio Fix Power foundation and it was a horrible experience and I feel like I wasted 26 dollars of my money. I have acne prone, oily skin so I thought using a powder would be better for me. However, I never looked to oily in my life. I live in a humid climate so by lunch at work my skin looked like an oil slick. Now don't get me wrong the foundation covers very well..(I use a Kabuki b...read morerush to apply mine) but it really does FEEL like you are wearing makeup. Also I had my makeup for a few weeks now and I see that it has gradually gotten darker so now I can't wear it even if I wanted to...(this may be due to oils on my brush) anyways, I know people swear by Mac but if you have sensative skin, hate heavy makeup and live in a humid area this is not going to be a good makeup for you.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 8 of 9 people said helpful

Wonderful Coverage
This has got to be the best full coverage dry powder foundation I have ever used! I have a scar from a car accident that is very hard to cover and this foundation does the trick. Good...if you use a brush
The first time I bought this foundation the artist matched me with an awful, orange color that looked terrible on me and didn't match my skin. I exchanged it and the second artist was much more knowledgeable towards the product. She found a perfect shade and told me it would be better to use a brush than the sponge included. I thought she was just trying to have me buy some MAC brushes, so I didn'...read moret. Every time I used the foundation with the sponge it looked chalky and gross! So the other day I figured "Alright, I'm trying the brush", Oh my gosh! Now my skin finally looks perfect! Looks great, feels great
This stuff works great when used with a moisturizer. I use it in the summer because my liquid is a little too heavy, but I still need a good deal of coverage. I have oily skin, and prefer the natural look. If I use this without moisturizer, I get a flawless, but unnatural look. The Best Foundation On the Market
I have been wearing MAC Studio Fix for several years. I have tried others but always go back to my Studio Fix. I wear NW45 and it gives the best coverage ever. It goes on perfectly with a sponge or brush and gives a nice finish. AWESOME!
I am super fair and MAC products are the only ones that are light enough. I am NW15....the NC15 is too golden for me, but if you have more of a golden/yellow undertone it would work better. Better this time around
I first bought this and hated it. I could never wear it out in public because the girl matched me with an orange foundation, I don't know why - my skin isn't even dark. I read the receipt and exchanged it for a proper one that matches my skin perfectly, and even she thought that the one the other girl had told me to buy was the wrong color. FINALLY a foundation that's not orange, pink, or brown on my skin! Love it!
