LOVE the product, but not the size/price
by lschoenb (17 reviews)I have super sensitive skin that breaks out at the drop of a hat, and this is one high level sunscreen that won't break me out, doesn't feel heavy, and is undetectable under makeup. My one serious beef, however, is that it's pricy for the amount that you get. I've only been using the product for about 7 weeks, and I've ...already run out. For $27, it should be a bigger bottle or cost less. April 28, 2008, 12:37 pm5 of 5 people found this review helpful.

Wonderful!
by CarolBB (3 reviews)I have melanoma and have to be very careful about sun exposure. This product is absolutely wonderful, and I only wish more products went this high on their SPF. Works well with all makeup products, not just M.A.C., and is an absolute every day staple for me. November 29, 2007, 9:42 am4 of 4 people found this review helpful.

Staple in my makeup kit!
by shriekingviolet (76 reviews)Top 500 ReviewerTrusted ReviewI've been using this product every day since it came out and I absolutely love it. It's a light lotion that sinks in easily and doesn't make me break out or feel all greasy. I'm not sure that it dramatically increases the wear of my foundation, but it does improve the look of my skin, so much so that I know I've started u...sing less foundation since using it both because I feel I need it less and because it makes my liquid foundation work more "efficiently". It makes my skin look softer and more even. For this reason, I even use it on days where I skip foundation. The high SPF in this is really great too. I went to Disney World last August and wore this in lieu of a traditional sunscreen on my face and I didn't get a sunburn (or tan) all week long. That's quite a feat considering I was sweating profusely and that I'm fairly pale and prone to burning. Most sunscreens irritate my face, causing my skin to itch, burn or flush, but I can't feel this on at all after application. Great product! I'll keep buying it for as long as MAC makes it! Great for protecting your skin!!
by Makeup_Fanatic (24 reviews)I absolutely love this sunblock! I have oily skin and when I apply this on my face, it doesn't leave behind any residue or make my skin more shiny. This primer is weightless and does not compromise the look of your make up at all. This is perfect to wear during the day. It's easy. Just apply the primer liberally and then wa...it about a minute to let it set into your skin. Afterwards, apply your favorite compact or foundation. For best results, use MAC's blot powder throughout the day to minimize your oily skin if you have it. October 11, 2007, 8:34 pm4 of 4 people found this review helpful.

Works Well with Foundation, Pretty Good with BareMinerals
by TzoneGal (90 reviews)Top 500 ReviewerTrusted ReviewI really like this primer because of its high SPF. I have an oily Tzone and this primer goes on wet, seemingly oily, but dries nicely. It works pretty well when I use Lancome foundation with Clinique powder, but just OK when I decide to use BareMinerals for the day. March 13, 2008, 5:11 am3 of 3 people found this review helpful.

MAC Prep + Prime SPF 50
by luyuan (6 reviews)I love this product. This preps my face for tinted moisturizer/powder and creates a velvety canvas. I can't comment on how it compares to other primers since I haven't used any (like Smashbox, which is obviously very popular). Frankly I wouldn't bother with primer except this has SPF 50, which I love because I have very ...pale skin so the extra step seems worth it. A great way for pale girls to protect their skin and make it look fabulous at the same time. February 21, 2008, 7:36 am3 of 3 people found this review helpful.

Great sunblock for oiler skin
by Spooka (1 review)This is the only primer/sun-block that works well with my skin. I have very oily skin. The prep and prime has dramatically reduced the shine on my face. And a little goes a long way. It is a great primer for Studio Fix and mineral foundations. My only gripe about this product is the packaging. I dislike it. It is... hard to empty this container. You will need to cut into it to empty it. June 9, 2008, 4:19 pm1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

great for oily skin
by LaurelJ (31 reviews)Trusted ReviewThis is the only sunscreen for my face that does not make me break out or make my face shinier, even during the summer. It absorbs quickly and protects my skin. December 12, 2007, 4:19 pm1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

Great product
by maddie6887 (7 reviews)I was a little skeptical at first about the idea of using makeup primer, but decided to give it a try, since my makeup had a tendency to fade after a few hours, and I didn't have the time at work to constantly retouch. I'm a believer now. This primer created a smooth surface that allowed my makeup to go on smoothly and sta...y on for hours and hours. I find I use less foundation now too. Love it! The price point is a little high, but a little dot of it goes long way and the addition of the SPF is great. May 11, 2009, 9:02 am0 of 0 people found this review helpful.

Keeps your foundation in place!
by MzSpectrum (22 reviews)I like this primer because it contains SPF 50 which I need when I work out outdoors during my lunch breaks at work. It goes on smoothly and acts as a great moisturizer as well. The only downfall is that sometimes it leaves my face a little greasy to which I apply a smaller amount of foundation to balance it out. All-in-all ...this is a wonderful primer and I'd definitely purchase this again once I run out. April 26, 2009, 3:06 pm0 of 0 people found this review helpful.
