This mechanical eye pencil glides on easily, and the ultra thin tip makes creating fine or thick lines easy -- it's also perfect for lining inner rims. The 15 colors are highly pigmented, so if standout eyes are your goal, you'll reach it with this. A complaint? If you have oily lids the stuff transfers slightly onto creases (some prefer Revlon ColorStay, a waterproof liner, for this reason), but the lasting power overall is better than most non-waterproof varieties.

    Draw the Perfect Line..

    Do you absolutley dread putting on your eyeliner, worring you'll mess up & then you'll be late for work or that date you just have to look perfect for...Well no more worries, M.A.C. Technakohl Liner is to the rescue! Get ready, prepare yourself, it's not everyday you can find a reasable cheap eyeliner that is this fabul...ous.The Technakohl Liner doesn't give you the fake liquid look, it goes on smooth, & if you make a mistake it's easy to fix! Whatever your perferable color is from blue to brown, i guarantee you'll find it at M.A.C.! December 2, 2007, 5:41 pm

    Not much different from other automatic liners except maybe it goes on a bit easier but sadly, it disappears too quickly. For the price, I can find cheaper, comparable ones for the performance. November 4, 2008, 11:56 pm

    not so hot

    I guess I just like regular pencils better. This one was just plain disapointing. I love MAC, but this eyeliner doesnt last (because it breaks so often) and doesn't glide as easy as others I have tried. Too bad, because the colors are great. March 23, 2008, 12:12 am

    still figuring it out

    i am on the fence with this product from MAC. the liner doesn't seem to transfer to my lids (or inner lids) without pressing hard - and that's no fun. i'll give it a few more shots to see, but so far i'm not in love. February 15, 2008, 4:18 pm

    For me it is the perfect eyeliner.

    I have very oily skin, and that includes the eyelid area. This liner does go on smooth and easy, and stays on all day with no smudging, or fading. December 26, 2007, 12:50 pm

    I love MAC products. This is a must have product. I find the Technakohl Liners to be long wearing, beautiful colors (I have every color). I apply only once and have had no problems w/smearing. The colors are quite brilliant, so I stick to navy, black, and gray colors for business; and use the other colors for special oc...casions. July 27, 2009, 2:13 pm

    Middle of the Road

    I still can't quite figure out if I love this product or not. Some days it stays perfectly, and other days I've got black smudges under my eyes. Because of that, I still only have it in black. However, I'm considering a few of the new colors-if I use a similar colored shadow over the liner, it makes a great color base! May 14, 2008, 3:18 pm

    I've used better eyeliners- I usually prefer gel liners, but like to use pencil liners to touch up on the go. The Mac Techankohl liner does not do that great of a job, and it does not last all day. Stick to Revlon Colorstay, it is the same product but lasts longer. May 7, 2008, 3:43 pm

    A mediocre kohl liner

    It is good when you first start using it, but since I got a liner that I prefer, I have stopped using it. The twist sharpen is convenient but it is not really functional--the liner is never as sharp as you need it for the top lid, but it still works for the inner rim.
