If Too Faced Lash Injection and Lancome Definicils had a baby, this affordable mascara would be it. The near-perfect, smudge-proof formula creates the ideal mix of thick, dense volume, length and definition at the tips. Avoid clumps by using the outside edges and tapered end of the thin brush. Lashes will stay flake-free until mascara is removed with an oil-based cleanser. And don't expect to throw the tube away after a few weeks; it'll stay fresh for at least two months.

    This mascara smudges at touch, flakes, clumps, and bothered my contacts. Everything it claims not to do! Don't waste your $11. Get Max Factor Volume Couture Mascara for only $8 at the pharmacy instead - I switched and it's no-clump and beautiful on my lashes! December 3, 2007, 1:27 pm

    I have a love-hate relationship with this mascara so I'm going to break it down to pros and cons. First the pros: it makes my already long lashes even longer. No kidding, it actually adds length. The black color is a good black. Maybe not "the" blackest of all mascaras in the market but it's pretty up there. ... Upon application, my hazel eyes instantly stand out and seem much lighter than it really is. The cons: Although this mascara gives length, it tends to group my lashes into sections giving it the spider legs look I hate so much. My lashes are already thick to begin with but when I have this on, it actually ends up looking thinner because of the grouping that happens to it. I would prefer for a mascara to have better separation of lashes but this doesn't accomplish that in the least bit, no matter how little amount I apply. Additionally, it tends to clump if there is too much product on the wand. It's also pretty heavy and tends to straighten out the curl in my lashes. I hesitate to wear this during day time because it can look dramatic but not necessarily in a good way. I much prefer MAC's Pro Lash during daytime because of its lighter and non clumping consistency so the Zoom Lash has taken a backseat to it. May 15, 2009, 10:31 pm

    Worst mascara I've used...

    This clumped like crazy. It was also very messy and got all over my lids. I've got pretty sparse lashes and this definitely did not work for me. December 11, 2007, 3:30 pm

    I have pretty skimpy lashes and this mascara doesn't help a bit. In fact, it makes me look like I have 3 lashes. It might be great to define someone's lashes that are already full and long, but doesn't do a thing to help build thick luscious lashes. I'd pass on this one. December 11, 2007, 7:23 am

    I bought this mascara, thinking it would be great after reading the reviews. I am NOT impressed. Its OK, but since I am a mascara LOVER, especially when the lash comes out powerful, fringy, and long and pretty, this mascara falls SHORT. May 1, 2008, 12:04 am

    MAC is my favorite brand, but I don't like this mascara. I like my lashes to look plump and long but this doesn't give me that effect. February 28, 2008, 1:18 pm

    This does nothing except clump. I mean it's mascara, but for the price it should be more like it's other department store counterparts and at least provide some lengthening as well... December 29, 2007, 11:45 pm

    Clumpy

    This mascara clumps sometimes, but I'd wear it everyday. Holds a curl just okay. Gives me volume. Be careful when you are adding more than one coat, though -- that's when it tends to clump. October 3, 2007, 6:25 pm

    A bit disappointed....

    I love most all MAC products, but was a bit disappointed with the mascara. It went on fine and initially looked great; however, after a few hours it ended up flaking leaving my eyes look as if they had dark circles. I've only purchased this product once and most likely won't buy again. May 1, 2008, 11:45 pm
