Not the worst
MAC eyeshadows are okay, but I definitely have used better eyeshadows. Everytime I go in and swatch them, with my fingers or a brush, I'm underwhelmed by the pigmentation and dry texture on a lot of the mattes. I got one for free (Plumage, a deep hunter/teal green), and while I can build up pigment, it takes patience to get it even and blended nicely; problems I don't have with many other eyeshado...read morews. While there are pigmented shimmers, they are kind of flaky often times. The shade selection is great, but there aren't many with smooth formulas. All in all, I can't justify the price for them, and unless there is a really unique shade you are willing to be patient working with to get the specific color you have in mind, I don't think they are worth it.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

All day beauty
I absolutely LOVE MAC eyeshadows. They last all day long, giving you a fresh look. Even the shadow with shimmer in it stays put! If the price wasn't so steep, I would have hundreds of MAC eyeshadow! I love it so much.
I was fed up with low quality eye shadow. So I went to Macy's, and marched right up to the MAC counter. It is only 15 dollars a shade, which is less compared to some other brands. Very well pigmented, blend-able, and it does stay all day. I am a total fan and this was the "gate way" to my MAC obsession! Great shadows

I LOVE anything mac!
i am a big fan of MAC products! Although this is ne of the best eye shadows that I have bought I have tried better ones on in the Store. A plus is that they have tins and tons of shades. Many of them layer and blend together very nicely. Even without a primer these do not crease, flake, or smudge. On some of the glitter shades there could be a substantial mount of fallout onto your eyes. My favorite are the matte shades bec...read moreause they do not crease on me like most mate shades do. My favorite is their matte black. I recommend using this product with a primer because although it is rather long-lasting you get a much better color [ay-off if you use a primer like urban decay primer. You can use your finger or a sponge tip applicator for this but a brush will cause some crumbles if you pat the eyeshade. One of the only really bad things I can say is that for a single eye shadow these are pretty expensive and there are other alternatives which are cheaper.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
