  CARBON Addict!

  I LOVE the MAC Carbon eyeshadow... I use this as an eyeliner mostly...using a thin eyeliner brush (artist brushes work just as well ) I use it wet then blend it and go over it once more wet along the lash line, dry off the brush, and then to set the liner I use the dry shadow to make it stick :) LOVE LOVE LOVE IT... I have ...3..one in my makeup bag.. one on my vanity and one for use on clients... I'm also known to give this out as a gift. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! June 4, 2008, 6:56 am

  Every shade, used wet or dry, come out perfect every time. Blendable, customizeable color is easy when you dip into a perfect little black pot with snap lid that fits in your tiniest bag. Do you want just a little color? Then dip your brush in lightly and barely sweep it on. Do you want a lot of color? Then wet your brush a...nd swirl it around the surface a lot and blend it onto your skin as its silky smooth pigments go only where you want them. I think they have 28765380 colors now, so there are many to choose from. Either way, you will never ever ever find an eye shadow that compares to MAC. No other shadow looks this great, and can be used both wet and dry without getting funky later on. IT'S SIMPLY THE BEST. April 21, 2008, 11:49 am

  My absolute favorite eyeshadow brand. True to color (what you see in the pot is what you get on your lids), highly pigmented intense colors, and a breeze to blend. When it comes to color selection, nothing beats MAC for its vast array of beautiful colors in all finishes imaginable to suit every skin tone. I have so many ...of these eye shadows that I lost track of the names but my "go to" shadows are Quarry, Paradisco, Soft Brown and Amber Lights AND especially Satin Taupe which I wear almost everyday. You can mix and match any of the colors to make your own, unique look. The possibilities are endless. Quality wise, I prefer their mattes and veluxe pearl finishes over the others. Length of wear is great, especially with UDPP as base. It literally lasts all day on me without creasing and by the end of the work day, it still looks like I just applied it. I don't have to take the shadows with me in my bag because I don't have to touch it up. You can wear it dry for a subtle look or wet for a very bold look. I like to buy the de-potted refill ones so I can just drop it into my 4 palette pan for when I travel. Unfortunately the color swatches on their website isn't very accurate. You need to go see it for yourself in person to truly appreciate the color. At $14, it isn't cheap by all means but the quality, performance and colors make this so worth it.   Nothing Beats MAC Eyeshadow!

  THE best eye shadow I have ever used. I will never switch to another brand when it comes to eye shadow. It also comes in a broad range of colors so there isn't a reason to switch brands anyways! The pigments are so concentrated and easy to apply. Even if you're new to make up, you won't mess up with MAC eye shadow. ... Favorite part about MAC eye shadow? The fact that it stays on FOREVER!!   Always a fan

  I remember coming across the MAC counter a long time ago (longer than I care to admit) and falling in deep love with the entire eyeshadow product line (not to mention most of their products). I still have some of the original colors from my first trip to MAC. As far as pricing goes, if I stop to think about the quality, p...igmentation and array of color choices along, I feel justified in paying the cost for each pot of color. When I think about how long these colors have lasted for me...it's a downright bargain. MAC eyeshadow is a great place to begin your total eye makeover if you've never used them.   Proven performance

  I did not discover MAC until I was in my 30's. I had heard good things, but could not justify the price without the experience. Even when I started using MAC foundations and powders, I could not see the point of spending money on eyeshadow. It's all the same, right? WRONG. I was so wrong. MAC eyeshadow colors hold their col...or all day long, they blend well, which allowed me to understand the artistry of makeup that I had no concept of before. Every pot is well worth the money. Although the main description on this site describes the pans as "tiny" they last a LONG time. In most cases, far longer than cheaper brands. I need to apply so much less to achieve the color payoff I want in my makeup. So. Well worth the price. MAC made a believer out of me for justifying the price. I know better now, and I own a number of MAC eyeshadows and use them exclusively. October 26, 2007, 11:11 am

  I love this shadow as an eyeliner

  This is the best shadow for liner. I use it everyday. I usea dark brown as my shadow. It blends easily to give you that smokey eye look. It's even better than eye liner, because when eyeliner runs it looks like old makeup. But this just adds another depth to your look. The texture of the shadow is nice and smooth. It... can be used with a brush or a sponge tipped applicator. I also use it as a shadow and that's just as great, as you can get many different shadings with one pot depending on how much you have on your brush. I am allergic to just about everything and I do not have a reaction with the MAC eye shadow. It is well worth the money. I keep a pot in my car and at my house. It has lasted a long time. MAC also has a great recycling program for their empty product containers. VERY green! June 2, 2008, 6:56 pm

  Pigments galore and true to the colors indeed! Have you ever purchased an item and has been so disappointed because the color came out so sheer that you had to layer it on six times before it had became even half the shade in the pot? Not here. MAC's eyeshadows are over fifty percent pigment which means what you see is w...hat you get and they come in a range of finishes from shimmers to mattes to satins and pearls, it's endless! Oh, I adore these and collect these! At $14.00, it may became a pricy addiction but they don't fade or crease on me nor do they disappoint. For office, for school, lounging, clubbing, dinner, dates, red carpet, these eye shadows announce classy and individuality. May 5, 2008, 5:44 am

  Cons: the price, and I wish they offered more palates. Pros: The variety of colors and finishes. The color is so true to what is in the container. One eyeshadow will last forever. I have had a couple of the colors for like 4 years now(I will end up throwing them out because of age, rather than ever running out of it). It la...sts the whole day.   Great Color Selection

  I am mesmerized when I visit the Mac counter, and I can never decide what to buy. It's worse than picking an ice cream flavor at BaskinRobbins! I do love Mac eyeshadows, but I have recently realized that some of the cult faves really aren't for me. Notably, Shroom, is just too shiny for me. I think when you are young yo...u can pull it off, but as soon as crepe-iness sets in, stick with the matte. The Mac girls really are great, but they tend to tell you that you can wear anything and I need to know exactly what looks good on me. I suppose I need a little more analysis for myself. Go with someone who can give you an honest opinion and enjoy! But if you need something more easy, get a palette with the colors that already go together. April 18, 2008, 8:07 am
