These tiny, round pots offer a little something for everyone with more than 150 shades to choose from. Lids flip open to control mess and product stays on eyelids without powdering off midday. With a wet brush, the shadow doubles as liner. The "highly pigmented" colors come in everything from satin finish to frosted shine, or they can be layered for combinations. These pots can get pricey, so if you want to sample several colors, consider the slightly less expensive multi-shadow palettes.

MAC eyeshadows are my favorite. I love the wide palate of colors-- they have colors available that I haven't even dreamed of. They are very blendable and wear a fairly long time. Best of all, though, is that each one lasts forever, and doesn't fade. I own several MAC eyeshadows and love them all! My particular favorites right now are Shroom and Patina.
