Doesn't take off makeup very well
May want to use a makeup remover before washing your face with this. I've used it alone and picked up traces of foundation on the cotton when I wiped with a toner afterwards! my favorite cleanser
This is my favorite cleanser for many reasons. It's gentle and doesn't strip my skin. I like the botanical scent for it's spa like experience. My skin feels like silk immediately after using it. I've tried plenty of cleansers in my 51 years. And every single cleanser that said it was gentle and didn't strip your skin would either strip my skin or was just a cream that did not truly cleanse the skin. Skin will react in three different ways when it's being overly stripped. It will get dry patches and extra oil will appear at the same time, this leaves so many people perplexed when this your skin's way of telling you that you've cleansed your skin improperly and the cleanser is both stripping your skin and throwing off your ph balance. Acne can also result from the stress on the skin if it's not hormone or diet related. This cleanser has been the solution to all of these issues for my skin. My skin is finally balanced, not too dry and not too oily! Soft , youthful and clears up any flare ups from a product breakouts when trying new ones that my skin does not agree with. This is worth the money, it also takes just the smallest amount and goes really far.
