Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Eyeliner

This little pot o' liner is awesome. It goes on easier than a traditional liquid liner -- especially if you use a quality fine-tip brush -- and actually lasts. Other cream or gel liners on the market (like Smashbox Cream Eye Liner) don't have this longevity. A few seconds after you glide it on, it dries and doesn't budge. It also has a slightly shiny finish, similar to a liquid liner, which is great if you're going for a more dramatic or retro look.

    other gel liners are better

    by chrisdih (17 reviews)
Mac and Clinique offer gel liners that go on smoother and last longer. I was disappointed with this product. May 15, 2008, 5:29 pm

    by RLaVonda (5 reviews)
This eyeliner is long lasting and great if you know how to work an eyeliner brush. I used this with my curved eyeliner brush. June 9, 2008, 12:49 pm

    Too Expensive

    by barbieheather2008 (146 reviews)
This product is to flaky. It stays on good but flakes. Off Way too expensive and have to be very steady to use. Plus you have to buy a special BB brush too May 25, 2008, 9:46 pm

Great Staying Power, Tough to Apply

    by AmberGretchen (102 reviews)
I like this product, but I don't love it. It comes in some nice colors, but many were too dark and obvious on my very fair skin. Also, it was tough to apply in a smooth but still thin line, and has a tendency to dry out in the container sooner than I expected. December 3, 2007, 12:08 pm

    decent gel eyeliner

    by hkang16 (13 reviews)
I was using this eyeliner for about a year or so and it was a good eyeliner. It was not as creamy as I would have liked and it would clump onto the eyeliner brush. It eventually dried out on me before I was able to finish it. So I had to toss it. It would also smudge a lot for me. I would end up with raccoon eyes at the end... March 30, 2008, 8:22 pm I was using this eyeliner for about a year or so and it was a good eyeliner. It was not as creamy as I would have liked and it would clump onto the eyeliner brush. It eventually dried out on me before I was able to finish it. So I had to toss it. It would also smudge a lot for me. I would end up with raccoon eyes at the end of the day and it was a pain to remove. Overall, it serves its function as an eyeliner but I think there are better ones on the market.
