Great product for an affordable price
I was very interested in mineral makeup Avon introduced theirs. I ordered some and began using and the compliments started coming. Now my daughter uses it too. It goes on smoothly with good coverage without the heavy or sticky feeling that so many foundations have. The only foundation I will use.
I have a medium skin tone becasue I am of mixed nationality. I have always had the hardest time matching my skin tone with makeup- it was either too pink or too ashy or too dark. or you could see the foundation...eeew! With this product, I use the bisque and the veil. PERFECT!! I look natural and have a healthy glow to my skin. My skin feels like it can breathe. it doesnt rub off on anything and it passes the "tissue test" The key is in how you apply. dip the brush swirl it in the cap tap off excess... start at the jawline and hairline and swirl towards the center of your face. my first mineral makeup

13 Worst Foundations -
Not worth the money
I bought this hoping it would be similar to Bare Minerals. Well, I was disappointed. I got the light, but it is almost white. It doesn't have the same consistency as other mineral powders have. There is something in it that makes it cake together. I do find that it is good for undereyes if you have dark circles. Would not buy again.
I do not care for this product. It was very clumped up when I opened it up, and they advertise a special brush to go with it that does not do it any justice. Better than Bare Essenctials
Mineral Makeup covers a multitude of "sins." Avon has found a way to bring the popular product to customers at a very fair price. Blending with brushes is the key,and they sell great brushes,too. This is the makeup I use all summer. You don't sweat if off. It is good for your skin,and you don't even have to wash it off at bedtime. I'ts great
This product is great, is the only foundation i use .. I have oily skin and adult acne and this realy covers up and looks smooth. It also feels cramy and light even doe it comes in a powder form .. I personaly love it and also the price .. I Compared it to bare minerals and this works better for me .. Key to using any mineral makeup
Many women feel that mineral makeups actually make them look worse by setting into lines and wrinkles. The key to avoiding this is using a makeup brush and blending, blending, blending. If you have fine lines or blemishes like I do, the makeup brush or even your fingers will smooth the product out over the problem areas. You cant just apply and go, it has to blend with your skin. skeptical at first, but really liked it
i have very oily, acne prone skin and liquid foundation has always made my skin more oily and break out. Thought i would give this a try. It doesn't give full coverage like the liquid but it doesn't make my skin any more oily and it doesn't make me break out either. Worst foundation I ever tried
I was actually an Avon sales rep when I tried this, thinking it was a great, affordable alternative to the other mineral makeups out there. Nope. Ya get what ya pay for. There is very little color spectrum, so it's really hard to match your personal shade. One made me look like a corpse, the next shade up made me look like an orange. But the worst part was that it actually EMPHASIZED all my flaws ...read moreby settling into my pores and lines... I can't even explain how horrible I looked! And it felt oily & cakey on.
