Clinique Liquid Facial Soap Reviews

I usually like Clinique, but not this.
It dried my skin out and I had to do extra moisturizing. Took it back to Dillard's and got my money back. — 2 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 3 people said helpful

A bit too liquidly and scent is awful
I bought this product as part of the 3-step clinique facial wash system, with this liquid facial soap cleanser being the first of the three steps. Immediately, I did not like the consistency of the product, I understand it's a liquid facial soap but it just felt like soapy water or rather cleanser that was really watered down. It does foam a little bit but not to point where I felt like it was any better than just washing my face with water. My favorite of the three step process is actually the second step of toner, and I would highly recommend that for any one looking into purchasing a new cleansing product. So back to this Clinique LIquid Soap, it's watery, ineffective and the smell is awful. I mean really this facial soap is probably one of the worst purchases I've ever gotten, and it's really one that I regret especially with such an expensive price tag. — 6 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Great to use (not for acne) but so-so as a travel companion
I once used this as a replacement to Clinique facial soap. More lathering foam lifts away dirt. It does not last as long as the largest Clinique soap. For acne prone skin, I recommend Clinique Acne Solutions Cleansing Foam. Great to use everyday (for my oily skin) but not to bring it when travel because the bottle is somewhat too big for my travel bag/suitcase. — 4 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Mild For Sensitive Skin
I use the Mild Liquid Soap every other day to make sure my skin is clear of any irritants or make-up. I doubt I'll replace it when I finish the bottle because the nearest mall is 1/2 hour away and I've found success with the Olay products, found at a drug store down the street. I didn't find the price of the product ridiculous and I may replace it, because overall it does clean my skin and doesn't have perfumes or irritating ingredients. — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 2 people said helpful

Amazing Product
I am a huge Clinique fan and only use their products with my facial regimen. I've been using this soap since I was 14 with the rest of the 3 Step and my skin looks flawless. I'm type 2 Combonation skin and this soap totally cleans my face without the tightness, irritation, and dryness that other cleansers can cause. Another great product from Clinique. — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Got my mom back to the Clinique counter
I got this for my mom who used to use Clinique products for a while but the stopped because she claimed that they started making her break out. Well, later she found it that her skin breaking out had little to do with her skincare and more to do with her changing hormones. (Ouch!) But I digress. Because I'd heard so many good things about this facial wash, I thought I'd reintroduce this as a way for her to ease back into the Clinique world that she loved. She's been using it for a couple of weeks now and she totally loves it. She said it's not too drying, but it does clean her face really well. She also loves the subtle fragrance of the soap. She also mentioned that she likes the fact that she doesn't have to stand there in front of the faucet for five minutes rinsing soap off her face, because this stuff is quick rinsing. She's running out of patience too these days. — 2 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Leaves my combo skin feeling "even"
One pump of this cleanser releases enough product to thoroughly lather my face, neck, and chest. I detect a mild tingly sensation and the faintest whiff of mint. This cleanser leaves my sensitive combination skin feeling soft, refreshed, and truly clean. Unfortunately, it does not tackle blackheads and I suspect it's contributing to my skin's flakiness. — 4 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful
