Clinique True Bronze Pressed Powder Bronzer Reviews

Don't believe the hype!
I'm a newbie at bronzer and thought this would give me more of a glow, but it just made my face look dirty. I applied with a light hand and layered, but it just didn't look good. I tan (I know so bad) and thought this might be a little "pick up" to the color I already have. Not so much. I'd generally put this in with my stash, but for the price, I'm returning it. — 3 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

The perfect bronzer!
I have fair skin with yellow undertones, and most bronzers tend to look straight up brown and make my face look dirty and greasy. This bronzer is perfect in that it lasts a long time, controls oil, blends well and layers well if you want a darker look. It's VERY natural, and isn't laden with shimmer like most bronzers. The price is kind of expensive, BUT it will last very long considering that you usually don't need a lot. The little brush is really cute, and the compact is gorgeous. The most natural bronzer out there, so give it a try if you have a difficult time finding a good one. — 4 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Amazing tan!
I always feel so washed out in the wintertime and this bronzer does the trick. Even though I get tan in summer, this bronzer can help me get that extra boost. I didn't like the brush it came with so I just use my own bronzer brush — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

For a Sunkissed Look
Sunkissed is the only color of this powder that I can viably wear. It has a subtle shimmer that doesn't show on the skin and is the most natural looking of the three colors. It doesn't go on orange at all (like Sunblushed does) and has a nice light feel. It mixes really easily with blush as well, and I do recommend using a nice fluffy brush to apply it, rather than the short, buffer brush that comes with it. — 2 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Meh
Not a huge fan of this bronzer, sorry to bring all the good reviews down! I am not too dark (nc20), but I had a hard time finding the right color. Sunkissed was too light for a bronzer, sunblushed a litte too orange, and sunswept might have worked but there were huge chunks of glitter. So sad!! — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Great Bronzer!!
I've tried lots of different bronzers, but this is by far my favorite. Goes on without looking heavy on the face. Gave me that sun-kissed look. — 4 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Great for lighter skin.
My skin is fairly light (and slightly tanned). I use Sunkissed and it brings out the color in my face without making it look fake. And it doesn't break me out! It's wonderful! — 4 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Great Bronzer
I've never been a fan of fake tanning or color embellishment, but was advised to start using a bronzer on my face to create some added color as well as a nice glow. Clinique bronzer, applied appropriately, gives a beautiful glow. Ideally, bronzer should be applied sparingly in single sweeps of the brush in the following areas - cheek bones, lower jaw line, and T-zone. Applied in these areas, the Clinique bronzer is a great way to give you a summertime glow. Clinique even gives you a nice compact and brush case, and the bronzer itself lasts for a long time. I continue to use this bronzer and would recommend it to anyone trying to achieve that beautifully subtle summertime look. — 4 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
