Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser

It's not quite the "no more raccoon eyes" advertised, but this oil-free, hypoallergenic cleanser does a fair job of lathering off light makeup and dirt. But heavy-duty jobs, like cleaning oily skin or removing eye makeup, might require a second suds-ing. Like most pump-able products, it conveniently delivers all but the very last squirts of the floral-scented cleanser.

I have sensitive skin and it has worked really well for me for years. It's not the best at removing waterproof make-up, but I use a make-up remover with silicone for that. This cleanser makes my face clean, but not irritated. I've experienced some dryness from using this product during the fall and winter seasons. Dryness of this cleanser can be avoided if you use a good toner after cleansing. I use Jason's Red Elements Calming Toner. Works great if you often experience dryness after cleansing, but don't want to weigh your skin down with a too greasy moisturizer. November 30, 2007, 12:17 pm

    Great for the Lazies

    by nataliebfarrell (5 reviews)
This is the perfect cleanser for those who don't want to remove their eye makeup and THEN wash their face. I say get it ALL done with ONE product. The fact that it's cheap, doesn't hurt my eyes (I'm terrified of eye makeup remover), and doesn't dry out my skin are all bonuses. April 23, 2008, 9:32 am

    Good Make-up Remover

    by Scarlett23 (44 reviews)
This is a great, easy make-up remover - but does not provide a true deep clean to skin w/ any kind of break-outs or clogged pores. I use it as a first wash at the end of the day to remove make-up, then follow up w/ Neutrogena's Deep Clean Cream Cleanser. April 18, 2008, 2:15 pm

I love this foaming cleanser, it really makes your face your feel fresh and clean after you wash it. It especially works if you have pimples on your face it helps clear your face. I've been using this product for almost 6 months now and I love it. March 24, 2008, 1:42 pm

    One of my toiletry staples

    by Madge (10 reviews)
I really like this product. It removes my makeup and leaves my tends-to-be-oily skin clean but not striped. I do need to use eye-makeup remover first, but the cleanser removes all traces left behind -- including the oil in the remover. February 21, 2008, 5:22 am
