Great baby shower gift!
This is a great baby shower gift. It comes with several Burt's Baby Bee line items. The talc-free baby powder is fabulous and the oil and lotion are also pretty nice. I've heard nice things about the diaper ointment for diaper rash, but since I don't have children I just use it for other reasons. The scent is a bit sickly sweet for my taste, but it isn't overpowering. Too waxy.
This review is for the Burt's Bee's Baby Bee, Buttermilk Lotion, but the product by itself is not available for review on totalbeauty. When I first heard about this product, it sounded so good! I really wanted to like this product. I actually hunted this product down at a store not very near me just to find it. That's how excited I was to try it. Since (at the time) it was kinda hard to find, I bought like 2-3 bottles. And, of course, I ended up not liking the product. So, had to muddle my way through using up all the bottles (didn't want to drive far yet again to return them). The ingredients are pretty good, all but the bees wax. Just way too waxy for me. Great Gift!
I found this on clearance at Target recently and bought it as a gift for someone having a baby. I wanted to keep it for myself to try all of the cute little products! Sweet Smelling and Safe
Love natural products for my baby! Skin is so sensitive when babies are small, and it can absorb chemicals into the body so easily. I love the soft scent of Burt's Bees Baby Bee products, especiallt the apricot baby oil and baby dusting powder. Worth it for the diaper ointment alone!
As a baby, my daughter had diaper rash constantly. All other ointments seemed to just act as a barrier and did nothing to heal the irritation, but Burt's Bees has created a product that does heal. I have given kits like this at all of the baby showers I have been to since I found Burt's Bees 8 years ago.
