    Acne Solutions Clarifying Lotion

I used the entire acne solutions line in high school when I had the most acne, and the entire line together worked rather well for me, personally. I still use this product, generally around my time of the month, because that's when my skin usually gets the most blemishes. Make sure to use a moisturizer afterwards, otherwise it will leave your skin dry. — 9 months ago

    Good quality product

I have the three step system from Clinique and also this acne product. I don't use it every night like I should so I still have some pimples on my forehead, nose, and under my lips but there are few and I can see them getting better. Occasionally I get dry skin pinning my nose but that is it. I just wait a day or two and it goes away. I think this product is helpful. Not the best toner.

A friend of mine gave me a large bottle of this toner, and I have to say that it is definitely not, by far, my favorite. I was hoping it would help clear up my severe acne from my high school days, but all I was left with was dry, flaky, irritated skin. I used this on and off for about a month, hoping my skin would adjust to it, but it never did. This toner smells strongly like alcohol, and burn...read moreed my skin when I applied it with a cotton swab. I noticed immediately after that my skin would be red and dry, and I had to double-up on my moisturizer to compensate for the drying effect this toner brings. Bottom line: For such an expensive product, I do not recommend this for someone with sensitive, acne prone skin, and especially not for someone on a budget. I would recommend the Simple line toner, or Witch Hazel! Both are gentle on the skin! — 1 year, 4 months ago

Like the clarifying lotion from the 3 step system better

because this combined with the Liquid Facial Soap and Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel makes my skin (which is oily and acne-prone) feel tight and irritated. I've heard good reviews about it but on my skin it just doesn't help. I'm sticking to the clarifying lotion from the 3 step system. — 1 year, 4 months ago

    Pretty Good

I really liked it, but I don't think it's for sensitive skin. When I first used it, it stung so much I was practically in tears. For that first month it was like that. But during all this, my skin tone was improving and my acne was slowly going away. — 1 year, 4 months ago

Great but not for daily use

This is a great acne-combatting product. Once you've had a breakout, just keep using this for 2 to 3 days, and you can expect your acne to be gone. It's also very cooling, so summer is an appropriate season for this. But I'd recommend using this only when you have a breakout, as it would dry the skin on daily twice-a-day usage. — 1 year, 10 months ago
