  Too much bother than it's worth

  Obviously the idea is to apply the mascara with the brushless applicator on sections of your lashes. It's particularly good for those shorter lash hairs that sometimes gets missed by regular mascara wands. While the concept is alright, I find it's too time consuming to do, especially since you have to let each individual ...sections dry or else you'll risk smearing and/or clumping them up. It would be great if I had all the time in the world but being pinched for time in the morning as it is, I find it so much easier to just use a mascara with regular bristled wand.   Didn't like it

  I was told this mascara would give you fabulous lashes, and the woman who told me used it and her lashes were indeed long and full. However, I could never quite master the technique of applying it without making a mess around my eyes or ending up with clumps galore. With my patience shot, I'm back to mascara with a regular... brush. Good luck to those who opt to try it! April 21, 2008, 5:43 am

  takes getting used to

  this is the only mascara that gives me lasting results without racoon eyes. however, it takes getting practice in applying just the correct amount. I've found that using a lash comb to separate the lashes doesn't do the job so my technique is to apply the mascara and use an old clinique mascara applicator (which I clean and... sanitize frequently) to give my lashes separation.   Not for long thin lashes

  I am a true Bare Minerals fan. I use all her makeup, but this mascara is not for me. My eyelashes are thin, but long and this mascara clumps. I need a brush to separate the lashes. Can not use this. July 17, 2008, 1:13 pm

  Love it

  It helps seperate fine lashes. To me that was the greatest relief for me. I was always told, it's all in how you apply it. Well, do it right or not, some of it clumps and for thi n lashes it is almost impossible to remove. It doesn't clump as much and goes on very easily. March 11, 2008, 12:08 pm

  Love, love, love!!

  When I first saw the brush ( well... not exactly what I would call a brush) I was intimidated and unsure but after just couple times of getting used to I would never go back to conventional mascara.   Interesting Take On Conventional Mascara

  I tried this product a few years ago just for the heck of it. Positive: Overall, it's a good mascara and fairly easy to use. Negative: You may have to use a second mascara for lengthening purposes. November 2, 2009, 10:57 pm

  Couldn't get the hang of it

  I use only BE makeup and brushes, but after trying this mascara several times, I have returned to my mascara with a brush. I found it very difficult to apply this without making a mess around my eyes, and it seems no matter how I tried, my lashes would clump. I need the brush to separate. This is a great concept, but for... someone who doesn't spend a lot of time on hair & makeup, this was too much work/time for me. May 25, 2009, 6:32 am

  Best Mascara ever!

  You would think that mascara without a brush wouldn't work, but this stuff works great!Because it has no brush, its easy to get right up to the crease of your eye and apply, which you can't do with a brush. My lashes are short and fine and its hard for me to find a mascara that actually works well, but this and Sephora bran...d are my two favorites. I bought one for my brothers girlfriend for Christmas and she loves it too! Now I get it for her every year! You should try it! May 25, 2009, 5:35 am

  I love this mascara

  This is definitely one of my three all time favorite mascaras - the blinking motion to use the application did take some getting used to - but the technique seems to get mascara closer to bottom of lashes with the brushless wand, and makes my lashes look fuller - length of wear is comparable to other non weather proof masca...ras - this one definitely clumps less.
