Not Worth Its Hype
I had wanted to try this for ages and found that it didn't flatter my lips or cheeks (no, I didn't have the promised glow as if I just came in from the cold). Didn't like this!
It took me ages to build up to the tint I wanted. I guess that's good for someone who likes to control the amount of color, but it's not great for me who doesn't have a lot of time to spend on my routine. I like it a little better on my lips, but I just cant tolerate this. Not that great....
It doesn't look that good on my lips or cheeks. The consistency is really watery and the packaging is kind of weird (it looks like nail polish). It has an okay length of wear and isn't really drying, but it isn't very moisturizing on lips either. I'm not impressed enough with this product to justify the $28 price tag. Benetint is a Benedon't...
I tried the Benefit Benetint and did not like it all. I used the 3 stripe application for the cheeks and it just did not blend well. As far as being a lip stain, this did not work. I don't get it...
I don't understand the hype around this product. I found it difficult to apply evenly, hard to blend, and unevenly tinted. Doesn't do much
This is one of the first lip stains that I tried and thank goodness others I have tried since have been more effective. This isn't much of a stain at all. This is a liquid consistency that seems to just run off your lips. Although it isn't totally patchy like some can be, it gathers at the center of the mouth and doesn't give an all over even color. It just doesn't give much color at all. I had a deluxe sample that came in a kit and I diligently used it, hoping it would work in different ways. The only way this became workable for me was when I took the extra time to layer it, applying then letting it dry and applying again a few more times. I would then apply a dark lipstick over it, just using the stain as a base. This is really the only way it "worked". Nice color, not impressed
Once I finally get this applied, it does give a lovely flush to my lips. But I do find it difficult to apply and it seemed like I had to put on several layers to get just a tiny hint of color. Then, once I got it applied so it would actually show up, it didn't last very long at all. Not anywhere near as long as I was expecting a "stain" to last. It works ok as a blush as well, as long as you're super quick with the blending. Great natural flush
