Former chem lab geeks will love this peel. Empty the enzyme capsule into a plastic jar, add warm water, and it turns into a chunky gel. After you spread the gel on your face and top with a hydrogen peroxide cream, the combo magically turns into a foamy 3-minute mask. It's good, clean -- and fast -- pore-unclogging fun. Skin looks brighter, but it doesn't immediately buff away fine lines (although it might, over time).

    Does make a difference

    I used this peel about 3 x a week for about 3 months. It did make a difference in the appearance of my skin hours after using it but I didn't see any long-term benefit. It didn't decrease breakouts or greatly improve my skin tone or clarity. But I am giving it a 7 because it made my skin smoother and softer for a few hou...rs after use so it was good on those nights when there was something speical planned, like a dinner or formal. In general, except for Hope in a Jar and Amazing Grace, I can take or leave Philosophy products. This one is no different. March 16, 2008, 3:52 am

    I have dry sensitive skin that occasionally breaks out. This product always makes my skin look and feel much smoother after application. I use at night before bed, when I will not be clogging my pores with make-up after applying. I agree with others that 1/2 capsule with very little hot water mixed works great and doubles t...he usage per container. I've tried a full capsule and have wasted too much by not needing it and having to toss it out. My dermatologist even noticed the difference visibly and in my skin's texture and color.     Its a keeper

    I have used this product for a year! My skin is sensitive to just about everything so I wasn't sure to a reation. But it works great and makes your skin feel soft wonderful!! A little self pampering for yourself.My only problem is keeping it in stock because everyone in the family comes to have a facial!! My age is 62 but m...y skin is 40 May 15, 2008, 6:45 am

    I love this peel! It's so quick, and it's such a deep clean, I love it! I use it once a week, and alternate w/ the micro peel. To not be wasteful, I only use half of a capsule, a whole one is really too much for me. November 24, 2007, 11:10 pm

    Amazing peel!

    You see the results right after you use it! I have acne prone skin and this peel gets rid of all the dirt and other icky things on my skin, making acne less common. It makes my skin feel really soft and smooth. My skin always looks brighter and healthier. Well worth the money!! I found that there's so much product from one... capsule it's possible to share it with someone. My mom and I alway do one together--and we have gel to spare! January 20, 2009, 6:05 pm

    I BOUGHT THIS ABOUT A MONTH AGO AND I FELL IN LOVE I NOTICED AFTER USING THIS MY SKIN IS BRIGHTER MORE SOFTER AND I EVEN DID THE PEEL ON MY MOM SHE LOVES IT AND WE FIGHT OVER IT....THE ONLY THING I DONT REALLY LIKE ABOUT IT IS THE PRICE IS KINDA HIGH FOR ME BUT OVERALL THIS PRODUCT IS GENUIS.     very gentle. does not do a thing for my face. not worth it. i did it to help myself with acne to decongest. did nothing of the sort. it brightened my face for a couple of hours. but i need longer benefits. not worth it. August 14, 2009, 10:32 pm
