Love it
Garnier has recently reformulated their Sleek and Shine Collection of products, and I am so glad that I decided to give that line another chance. This wonderful serum is formulated with Argan oil, which I consider to be the holy grail of hair products. I use two pumps of this product after I wash my hair, and it really helps to detangle so I can comb it easily. It leaves my hair very shiny and gives it bounce. I did not find that this weighed my hair down at all, so that was an added bonus. I have very dry hair, but you would never know if since I have been using this product. This might not be the best for the ladies out there who have oily or fine hair, but if you have thick and dry hair like I do, then I think you will be very happy with this product. It is also sold at a very reasonable price point, far less than similar serums that don't even deliver half as good results. I have stocked up on this serum and I do not plan to ever be without it. No, No, No!!! This was not a good buy! I purchased it because I LOVE the scent of this product (Garnier fructis products always smell so good). I used it the first time, and It did nothing, my hair felt like straw, good smelling straw, but still straw. I used it a second time, and this time I combined it with an Aveda serum. I got a good result, but I had to use it in conjunction with another product. I used it one last time (before it went in the garbage) and it was a complete disaster. I tried to apply enough, but not too much and it ended up looking like a greasy frizz ball! way too heavy

Sleek & Shiny
I have a coarse kinky hair and had purchased this product as a way to contain some of the frizz and add shine to my hair. After the first use, I learned that it made my hair look TOO oily and the oil residue left on my hands was ridiculous! Since I spent money on this product, I decided to try it in conjunction with another product, use much much less (between the size of a penny and a nickel), and to use it when flat ironing my hair. This worked a lot better for me. My hair was much smoother once flat ironed and had a bounce and shine that I was IN LOVE with! Too little or too much
I started off using a tiny amount of this and found it wasn't enough. When I added just a little bit more, my hair got super greasy and felt weighed down. Pretty good
This works to reduce my frizz and reduce flyaways, but as other reviewers have said it can make your hair very oily. Don't use it on the roots. I love this stuff!
This is my favorite hair care product. I don't use it for straightening, so it shouldn't be in ratings for "Straightening" products. But it leaves my hair smooth and shiny when I use it. It took a little experimenting to find the right amount to use, but 2 pumps of it, one in each hand, works real well for my mid length hair. I also love the scent, and the lack of frizz when I use it. love this stuff
my hair is fine and curly. and on top of that, it is really dry from coloring... I blow dry my hair with this stuff and it NEVER fails. I keep coming back to it. And I have tried ALL of the expensive kinds. love it .
I love how this product makes my hair soft and shiny. It smells great !
