The biggest beauty product trend I can remember in my eight-plus-year career (and many more makeup-obsessed years prior to becoming a beauty editor) is BB creams. Just about every beauty company in the world spent the last 12 months formulating and then launching one of these tinted multi-taskers otherwise known as "beauty balms." See CC creams

Blackheads can pop up anywhere, from your nose to your back to your arms. Some people even get blackheads on lips, or more commonly, around the lip line area. Products such as lipsticks and lip balm often contain oils, waxes and other greasy materials that can seep into pores and cause blackheads and breakouts around the lip area. However, it is quite easy to treat blackheads on lips. You should exfoliate regularly to get rid of dead skin and cell buildup, and be sure to purchase a lip scrub or make your own with sugar and essential oils in order to fully cleanse and exfoliate on and around the lip area. You can also steam your face with a hot towel or lean over a bowl of hot water in order to open your pores up for easier cleaning and removal of blackheads. Read read more

Post acne marks come in various shades, shapes and sizes. From small brown spots to bright red marks, they do a good job at making themselves known, serving as reminders of the previous blemishes that you have had to endure. The good news is that these marks do eventually fade, but the bad news is that they can often take a good amount of time. But instead of waiting for them to disappear, there are several things you can do to speed up recovery and get rid of them for good. One important note to remember is to always wear oil free sunscreen when you hit the outdoors, the reason being that the sun tends to darken spots and make them more noticeable. You should also exfoliate your skin several times a week, as exfoliants remove dead skin and reveal fresher and brighter skin underneath. Read read more
