Orange

Judging by what I've seen on red carpets lately, orange is poised to be spring's hottest lip hue. If you're going bold, opt for Hourglass Opaque Liquid Lipstick in Riviera, $28 (the exact shade used on Jessica Alba). Those of you less color courageous could go for a tangerine tinted lipgloss, like Chanel Levres Scintillantes Glossimer in 165 Volupt�, $29.50.

Why does it feel like most of those colors are variations of orange? Rose is just about the only one I have any interest in trying.

I need more coral options that I can but at the drugstore. Cover Girl Queen Collection are hard to find in Tucson.

All of these colors have been in style for the past few years...especially oranges and corals. For an excellent tomato red MAC's 'Russian Red' or their Archie's Girls Collection 'Ronnie Red' are awesome!

All of these colors looks terrible on me (except the rose). Go with whatever works for your skin tone and forget what people say is the "it" color. Look at Sophia, that color does NOTHING for her!

I really don't care much for the colors myself. Guess I am a bit old fashion. The red is fine and perhaps coral, but yuck, not orange.

I don't like any of these. The saturation of pigment in all of them calls for bright white teeth like all of the models have. For someone who has not had their teeth whitened, all of these would make one's teeth appear yellow.

I'm not a huge fan of those colors simply because they don't look good on me. But you're right about wearing whatever you feel like and whatever goes with your skintone, style, and outfit.

This article made me sigh with relief--who says that only certain colors should be worn during particular seasons? Spring automatically makes me think of pinks and roses (universally flattering), but coral, salmon, and the other hues noted can be surprisingly becoming as well. For my junior prom many years ago, I wore a coral gown and went on a desperate search for the "perfect" color to complement my complexion and my ensemble. I found it; to this day, the pictures taken of this prom remain some of the best of my life!
