Quick Ways to Refresh Your Hairstyle
You don't have to get a pixie cut to be in style this season. Follow these 10 expert tips to easily transition your hairstyle
Hairstyle Tip 1: Try bangs
This fall is all about bangs. Chunky, side-swept, wispy, or blunt; all types of bangs are perfect for this season. "Most of the fall we tend to put our hair in a pony or bun. Having real bangs allows you to put your hair back and still have something going on," says Ess.
Had a bad bang experience in the past? Ess says not to worry, if you're not into them, you can always "twist and pin them back -- that's cute too!" If you're still afraid to snip, or if you want to see how they'll look on you before you cut, Ess suggests buying clip-on bangs, which are "everywhere now" and even available for curly hair (try hairdo by Jessica Simpson Tru2Life Fiber Clip in Bangs, $44). Ess thinks every woman should have a pair, especially for the times when you're sitting in your bathroom with a pair of scissors and nothing better to do, she jokes.

updating tool is a good idea, newer tool have adjustable heat settings, and probably do have dust clogged in them, but boy do they get expensive. I have "salon grade" blow dryer, it dries fast because it's strong basically one setting and a cool blast button, but it's really bad for your hearing. If you get a blow dry... go for a quiet one, you ears and your family/ housemates will appreciate it much!

Agree with Tresemme Dry Shampoo being one of the worst, I did not get nice results when I tried it.

I like Kim's hairstlye. I have had bangs before many times, but i always pulled them back because i couldnt stand having hair in my face. Tip 4 looks interesting. I definetly want to try out the shine treatment! I love the bumped ponytail in tip 6, but my hair is too frizzy. But be careful with tip 8. I usually switch shades of brown (my natural hair color), lighter in summer/spring, darker in fall/winter.

Ummm, it's Brigitte Bardot, not Bridget. She's French. But I guess you're too young to remember, so you're forgiven.;-)
