17 Hairstyles That Take Less Than 10 Minutes
Updos mere mortals like us can actually replicate at home
Cutesy name: Mile-high Curls
Time it took us: 5 minutesWorks on:
· Any length -- super cute option for short hair
· Natural wave or curl
· Dirty hair -- day or two after shampooing
Stuff to have handy:
· Slim, jeweled headband
· Bobby pins
· 1/2-inch curling iron
· Shine spray
How to:
Step 1
Pump up any flattened or low-volume curls on top. To do this, wrap sections of
hair around the barrel of a curling iron, starting at the root. (No need to
get the ends or to use the clamp.)
Step 2
Loosely grab chunks of hair in back, then bobby pin and spray, tucking the ends under so you don't see straight pieces.
Step 3
Slip on a slim headband, but keep it close to your hairline. We have it
about an inch or so back.
Step 4
Top with shine spray. The overall effect should be touchable and fun, not
too perfect.
