I am from the south and there is a huge misnomer about health in those regions. There are some very healthy and beautiful people who live there, but extremes exist as well. I think it has to do with poverty/income/types of jobs. There are more factory and blue collar jobs. They do what they can with what they have.

Since I'v been here in America I notice people worry to much about thier weight. I hear skiny women complaining all the time talking about how fat they are and how they want to loose weight.
