Those nude shades are very pretty for any skin tone. I would have liked to see more cheaper brands since there were some that are very expensive and some I've never heard of, but the shade range gave me an idea on what to look for in my skin tone.

Nudes are a nice change every now and then but as my favorite "accessory", I love to have more color on my nails. Though you can subtly perk up the nudes with some clear rhinestone or some light nail paint

I had a bottle of this type of nail shades and I have to say it makes your fingers look in good condition if the color is not so visible. I do tend to like more pearl or metallic shades now vs. pinks or darks. I highly suggest trying one for everyday wear.

With fair skin and age 74, I have been using OPIs Shangai Shimmer for years because it always looks good even when my nails are growing out, is never garish, always subtle and looks dignifed. What is today's equivalent?

I am, as my husband describes it, "as white as a box of socks." Every polish you recommend for fair skin tones is not "nude" at all, but rather some variety of pale pink. Not that I disagree with the recommendations, but these shades are IN NO WAY "nude" ! Fashion would be a lot less confusing if the beauty mavens would just call things what they are by ordinary dictionary definitions.

I like that the nail colors were broken down by skin tone and there was a little bit of an explanation by the colors worked. I usually shy away from nude nails, but may have to try some of the suggestions!

looking forward to trying some of these but it would've been helpful to have a refresher on how to figure out your skin tone, such as cool vs. warm and a key for light to dark gradation. especially since some of us as sporting the post-summer tan =) (i always forget what i am anyway!)
