I'm not a morning person, so this article was fun to read. I'm definitely all about the multipurpose makeup -- BB cream, lip/cheek stain, chubby eye pencil for perfectly smudge eyeliner. The suncreen wipes are new to me though, sounds really promising (though my BB cream already has SPF).

The BB cream spicialy the garnier one is just not that good and oily and seems to cover nothing I've try applying it with my hand and few diff brushes am just not a big fan

The Garnier BB Cream in "Light/Medium" (it's lightest shade) is very dark! If you have fair skin I would pass.

I love multi-purpose products -- I thought I was the only person using mineral bronzing powder for a quick, natural-looking eye shadow! I'm still looking for a good BB cream though -- I loved the look of Garnier but had a reaction to it, probably the heavy scent.

Some good tips... it's funny thought, I just read another article on Total Beauty that said to always use brushes for concealer under your eyes, otherwise you're just wiping off what you just put on!

Some EXCELLENT tips here. I'm not lazy, but there are hints for women who are always on the go. Thank you for mentioning the use of your finger--I'm learning to rely on my finger to gauge product quality (how well a shadow or blush is made) and for application. Some things just apply in a more flattering way without brushes, like very vivid lip and eye colors. These can be pressed on for a softer look.

I'm admittedly sloth-like, especially Mondays, so these are handy tips. I really like Garnier BB Cream with its ease, heavenly smell, glow, and SPF but still need a dash of concealer for under my eyes and spots. If I need more coverage and more matte finish, I use Cover Girl Aquasmooth compact makeup which is concealer, foundation and powder in one. I also rely on tinted lip balm to look more pulled together on the fly and swipe some on my cheeks too - my fave is Tarte, but of course they are discontinuing it right when I get obsessed with it! Blerg! And I love the foam Tre Semme dry shampoo for dry hair when I don't have time for shampooing. Saves me every time the alarm clock doesn't go off!

I use baby wipes 1st. Other kinds, even ones for the face, irritate me. :-( Then coconut oil on my eyes, then a mask (my face is sooo broken out), and finally wash up. I live in a very polluted city and only rarely skip that last step!

The Garner BB Cream is HORRIBLE. It takes my face past greasy and makes it feel flat out WET! I don't even have oily skin, either.

BB creams look funny on me so instead I opt for a mineral powder foundation like Laura Mercier's. It's foundation and powder in one! Throw on a long wearing cream eyeshadow, a lip/cheek stain and a quick coat of mascara and I am out the door on those "lazy" days.

BB creams are great, but honestly the ones that are sold in America usually aren't true BB creams. I still have to get mine shipped in from Asia.

I use my fingers on days when I don't want to take time with a brush. I also love makeup remover wipes because I am laziest in the evening when I am tired.

I notice my make up goes one smoother when I use a foundation brush over my finger... especially with liquid foundation. It doesn't seem to take more time to me to use a brush. I have also heard that bacteria in you fingers will get on your face. I have very acne prone skin so I avoid touching my face as much as possible. While some may think using your finger is faster, I don't see a difference. Besides, I have dark skin so applying with my finger would get makeup on my hands which i then have to go wash off which take more time.

Some god tips, as mentioned its not a good idea to put fingers into makeup, if really rushed put colour on with brush, aplicator or q tip then use fingers on your face, once you know your brushes and shadows blushes etc it is quick and more efficient than fingers anyway as application is corect. If Im in a hurry I dont choose that time to try out new products colours etc, I stick with a combo I know the product and brushes. Would like to try BB cream but I think sunscreen still necssary in summer and hard to get al in one, for a pinch or touch up maybe?

nice. i'm not a primping skimper by any means, but some of these just seem like a good idea anyway. using oil is definitely one. i'd also like to try the BB. it seems like a great thing to keep in my purse for a quick touch up.

Garnier BB cream is decent- far from a miracle. The Yes to Cucumbers wipes didn't do well with my skin. Very irritating. I recommend the Boots wipes or even the new brand Simple.

Don't use your fingers! This can cause bacteria in your makeup and transfer oils from your hands to your eyeshadow your powdered eyeshadow will no longer work. Better off buying a cheap brush set and use the wrong brush instead of your fingers!
