The first time I purchased these I had a hard time getting them to work on my nails. The second time though, I took my time and was really happy with the results. I have tried several patterns since, and loved every one. I don't like the smell of nail polish, so I was happy that these don't smell nearly as bad (but, they do still have a faint smell of nail polish to them). I have small hands/nails, so I do have to alter the size of the nail strips to work with me. It lasted about a week and a half, which is a good length for me (usually polish chips off after a couple days). I like the color/pattern selection. I found them to be a little spendy, so I can't purchase them all the time. I love polishing my nails, but I dont have the patience to let them dry. I tried these in a very sheer color at first and fell in love with how easy they were to apply. Misbehaved was next to try and I love how it looks. I too thought 16 was a strange number to include, but I ended up applying "2 coats" on a few on my nails that are "weak" or that I use a lot and with that I ended up using all the strips. Although it might be a bit pricey, you can always find coupons for at least $1 off, so it makes it worth the money.
